Host extremely accommodating. He picked me up at the train station and took me back - at 5.30 in the morning! Kitchen had everything I needed.

There were no wine glasses, no kettle and the bed was too soft - these are small complaints considering how good the apartment was.

Communication could be improved. Bed you rolled toward the centre, plastic lined underlay made the sheets slip. Washing machine did not spin the water out of the clothes & clothes had to be rung out by hand.

Location, view, apartment features a really lovely apartment that we'd recommend. Free parking available at the top of the hill vs. 14 euros for paid parking.

As other reviewers have said, the bed linen and towels could do with a refresh.

Cosy, modern room. Fantastic location and mountain views. The host (Felix) met us at the car park and helped us with our bags.

Everything was great… although the bed and linens could use an update. That being said… it was still a great place to stay!

The location was excellent in relation to the Old Town. Felix ensured we arrived and knew what was up and around the neighbourhood as well as made sure we had a taxi back to the train station. Apt. was comfortable and a good size… with a view over the gorge.

Cuenca is so unique and finding the right location to stay is key. We pinged it with this apartment 100m below the cathedral and main square, easy walk to all the old town sights. Arranging transport up from the gorge is essential - Felix offered this as part of the price - great service!! Apartment itself is well equipped and very comfortable - washing machine a bonus.

Absolutely nothing....

Felix was an amazing host. Picked me up from the carpark and helped with my luggage. The location was amazing close to everything. The breakfast pastries and coffee pods were a special touch.

Nothing not to like

Felix is very helpful, the apartment is in a great location in the old town, just a couple of minutes from the Plaza Mayor, but in a peaceful location.

A couple of extra items in the kitchen like a bread knife, wine glasses would have been useful. The bed and bath linen could be renewed. It was clean, but old.

Felix was super friendly and welcoming and arranged a time to meet us to show us around the apartment:) The location is superb behind the main square with awesome views over the gorge. The apartment was good value for money and comfortable for a couple of nights. The kitchen had a Nescafe coffee machine and was generally well equiped. Everything was clean.

-not soundproofed at all, we could hear entrance door banging every time someone entered and people who were staying 2 floors below, which was a bit annoying as we ve had an apartment but felt like in a hotel room. - we were travelling with 11 month old baby and though we were informed by the host that the baby crib will be waiting for us in the room, it wasn’t set up, neither had mattress.. it’s like coming to your accommodation to find out you need to sleep on the bed frame with no mattress. The host wasn’t bothered much, in the end we folded a quilt and it served as mattress. Not ideal of course. So PEOPLE TRAVELLING WITH BABIES be sure to check this before coming. - there was like a mattress protector which was partially plastic and made so much noise, it felt like from Dexter series. - we didn’t use heaters (as we came in September) but they had a note NOT TO TOUCH. Not sure if you can stay there in the winter then if you are unable to use heating..

-great location -facilities (fridge,dishwasher,washing machine, iron-though pretty worn out) -clean and when you’ve entered the building it smelled really nice and fresh -meeting us once we’ve arrived and help with luggages -coffee machine

The bed and linen was old and really uncomfortable, the mattress sank badly in the middle. Also we felt obliged to park in the carpark using the owners parking account which was 12 euros per day. The second night we parked on the street for free (there was free parking about 5min walk from the parking station) and had to message him a couple of times to ask him to refund for th e second day before we received a reply.

The location and apartment were fantastic. Very good equipped, clean and has a great terrace. The owner was very helpful, he assisted us unpack and drove us form the carpark to the apartment. He also gave us lots of recommendations.
