The location was great. The bar/restaurant downstairs served very good food, not your 'standard tourist menu' food. Highly recommend dining there.

The overall look of the place is that it needs a good deep clean and to be a bit more modernized. Trying to charge our phones and tablets was very difficult and not all of the electric switches worked.

This was an actual hotel with a small reception. The owner was there. He was very kind, joyful, and helpful. He gave us a great recommendation for breakfast. The place was located in the old city which was perfect for our needs. Our room was very clean, especially the newer bathroom. Our beds were comfortable and clean. There were extra blankets which I used because the weather turned cold.

Hotel has seen better days, Restaurant didn't operate (was closed), had to wait on personnel for 20 minutes to check-in, hot water went off in the evening - was available in the morning...also please note that access by car to this hotel is limited due to its location

Room size is OK, location is Ok, view from the room was good

The hotel needs and urgent update. The stairs to the rooms are old with an unatached rug. You can hear all the steps in the top floor.

The restaurant and the location It was very clean.

Would have liked a bottle of water in room on arrival . Also tea/ coffee facilities .We however new they did not have this so brought our own . Can be noisy as on the street but shutters closed removed most of the noise . Carpet on public staircase Could be replaced , not an issue for us .

Stunning character room bigger than expected . Clean and tidy . Location is excellent to the town and within all tourists attractions . Restaurant and bar downstairs served really good food .Limited menu but very good . Baggage storage available . Shutters that open over street .

I would give this place a 9 overall but for noise at night-time from the streets and I hate to mention it. I was awaken at 4 am to loud voices from locals (sounded spanish) that went on for a while. This was immediately followed by lovers quarrell shouting at each other for over an hour then at 6 am cleaning trucks arrived so no sleep from 4 am and I had 22km walk to do next day. Perhaps this was a one off series of unfortunate events.

Loved this rustic style hotel. Located short walking distance to Cathedral and to Airport Bus 6A route. Felt very welcoming and homely when I arrived. From other reviews I made sure to read text instructions and checked in online and followed directions and it was easy. Rustic beadroom, absolutely spotless toilets and showers. Great bar and restaurant with good food. Fantastic view of the streets made you feel in the thick of everything. Lovely sitting outside to eat or coffee or simply chat with other Camino peregrinos. Staff fabulous.

:) Creaky floorboards... But what can you expect from an ancient building?

The hotel is located in the historical centre right next door to Arco de Mazarelos and a 2-minute walk to the market. The receptionist Ceasar was very helpful and friendly. It's a good option for a night stay in Santiago de Compostela.

It was all great. A bit noisy outside (it is Spain so be ready to hear noise late) and inside - stairs are a bit squeaky but really a great place to stay - specially after walking the French Camino. What luxury.

Excellent location. Still in the buzz but a tiny bit away from the cathedral area and it’s many many visitors a day. No full time reception which was not a problem at all as Cecua (??) was available at all times. Restaurant was great, staff super welcoming. A big kudos to Cecua who went out of his way to accommodate.

Usually nobody at the front desk; get by the bar next door (same property) or be ready to make a call to Cesar.

Perfectly located in the old town; easy to get from bus/train station. Cesar, the owner, made the stay just brillant!
