How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower drain didn't seem to be clear, as the shower tray flowed over and the floor got very wet.
Secure car parking, friendly and helpful staff at reception, basic but modern and clean room. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom arrangement was a bit strange, with the shower next to the bed (it was a nice, powerful shower though). At least the toilet was separate. There's a train station next to the hotel and the train took just 5 mins to the centre. But we had to take a taxi back as there didn't seem to be a train back after 10 pm. (We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.)

The window keeps away the noise from the big street outside, but not all the noise. I had direct view on the four-lane street and the roundabout with the lots of signal horns and traffic.
Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff. Next time i would pay for a public transport ticket instead of walking into the center each time.

We loved the hotel! We stayed there because of an early morning flight and the location was perfect to get to the airport (5 mins by car). We travelled with a baby and there was a cot provided for us and free parking in the underground car park. We had dinner in the restaurant to not have to leave the hotel and the food was lovely. The bar area has a nice area to sit for drinks. The staff were friendly and it was very clean. We will definitely be back!

The parking spaces were super narrow but we still had some available when we arrived at 11pm
Great hotel, can’t really fault them. The room was nice and clean, comfortable bed, we had toothbrush/comb/shower cap etc at our disposal, as well as a welcome message with some sweets, which I thought was a lovely touch. The breakfast was amazing. The food was excellent, there was a lot of variety to pick from (from fresh pancakes/ cakes/ bread to fresh fruit).

Shower was in the middle of the room and glass therefore not private. Had a shared room with our son.
Close to the airport. Room was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from.

The Name BED4U . Suggests something less than it actually was.
When I first saw the name BED4U I expected it would probably be a hostel but surprise surprise it was more like a 4 star hotel. The staff were the best! I’ve never encountered better!! After two days they could anticipate the drinks I would order from the bar.

Only stayed here for one night after a late flight into Santander, but it was perfect. Staff were very friendly, 24hr bar was very convenient and well priced. Very convenient location near airport, and train station into the city. Room was comfortable, and had all we needed. Appreciated the eco toiletries.

Rooms are not soundproof at all and we had noisy neighbours.
Room was big and comfortable, nice shower, a lot of space for clothes, temperature control, we found parking each time when coming from town, bed and sheets were very nice, stuff very friendly 😊

Can't be helped but the location wasn't the handiest for the centre (25 min walk) however, there is a train to the centre right next to the hotel which we discovered on the first morning which is one stop away from the centre and is just over 1 euro each way - absolute life saver, don't worry - you can't hear any of the trains from your room.
Fantastic value for money - very modern and clean. Bed were super comfy - think premier inn pillows. The rooms contain everything you need except conditioner (if you use it). Shower gel, hair dryer, tooth brush and toothpaste packs, there's a hair brush in with the hair dryer if you forgot yours. They've really thought of everything. Staff were fantastic - were patient with us when we tried to speak broken Spanish but they're just as happy to speak English. Food and drink were of good quality from the bar. Honestly, couldn't rate this hotel high enough.

the WC was separated from the shower, it was a thing on it's own.
it was very easy to get there, free parking, good wifi, free gym, the staff was very nice. it included a dental kit and a sewing kit, everything was very nice.
