Great place to stay to explore the region

The beds were a bit too firm for us. The hot water delivery system underperformed, and there was an issue with the shower head not staying in place, so showers were a task. The stove/range is old and hard to use (we understand that the host plans to replace it soon).

The location was excellent for our purposes, which were to explore the rock climbing opportunities around El Chorro. The host was extraordinarily responsive and helpful. The internet/wifi connection was great. Parking was easy and convenient. The building itself has a historic feel and some may see it as rustic, but we enjoyed the sense of connection to the area’s history.

Cosy, clean, well equipped house. Walking distance to much of the climbing and El Chorro centre. Really nice owner Ela who takes really good care of the guests and helps out if you have any questions.

The hosts know the area well and are very helpful. We had all we needed during the stay. The heating in the house is very good (despite chilly nights) and the duvets are super warm! When we were leaving, our train to Malaga was delayed by 50 min and we would miss the flight. Ela managed to sort out a taxi driver for us in 5 minutes (despite no taxi service in El Chorro)! Thank you very much! See you soon!

Husband, 1.86mtr, just to tall to walk upright into kitchen .. did not always think about this and hit his head a few times 😉

Enthusiastic host Ela, clean and attractively decorated house, good beds, swimmingpool, own kitchen to prepare your meals(buy groceries before you're there, no supermercado's in El Chorro) the silence around, nearby El Caminito del Rey
