Check in was a bit of a nightmare. The hotel was very helpful and sent someone to help us fight our way through big brother self check in. It probably helps to be younger. Lighting wasn't great.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient. Great location. Bravo for somewhere in the shower to put soap etc. It's amazing how many holiday rentals don't. Well equipped.

Noisy neighbours in adjoining apartment

We were not informed that part of our apartment was in converted basement . The sheets on the bed were damp and the water was coming through the wall .

The property is in the historic centre. Brilliant location. It is in the old restored building .

There is no way to get here in a car. You have to walk between 5 to 15 minutes! Toledo is a small town, like a maze, but that is part of its charm.

This is a dream place! Pack light to get through the narrow walkway (sort of like a sidewalk), but once you get here, it is like a cottage in heaven! We are in love with the place. Check-in is digital and extremely efficient!

The shower in the hallway was a little dangerous In that I found it slippery. I think it needs a rubber mat.

The location is In the Walled City. It was excellent & convenient to everything.

I missed having a reception and somebody to talk to and ask questions.

The management, however, was completely incompetent. First, they sent us the wrong front door code, so the whole family was locked outside in a heat wave. I tried to call the phone number on the front door, but no one answered. Luckily, another guest was returning and let us in. When we got into the flat neither of the 2 wi-fi networks listed in the flat’s info binder were active. When I got in contact with the manager to explain, he told me to log into another network - and then gave me THE WRONG PASSWORD (!) And then, that wi-fi network was so weak that we all had to use our data, all of it. What a disaster. But again, a fabulous property (even if the shower fixtures are falling apart: again, bad management)

Our flat was wonderful - better than we could have hoped, really. It was just as pictured on the Booking.com site - and as centrally located as promised (and yet on a quiet side street). The flat was nicely renovated and very clean. And the A/C was excellent - and we arrived in a heat wave with temperatures reaching 41 Celsius, so that’s saying something. We really felt we had this medieval palacio all to ourselves. A truly exceptional property.

We couldn’t find the towels for the third couple, they should have been left more visible, the next day we found some in the en-suite bathroom inside a cupboard but by then the couple had had to use a wet towel. Also we found it impossible to get the key duplicate following the instructions of the message received.

The owner gave a QR-code for a reservation in a parking. The site was hacked and they toon some money from my account. The owner didn't believe me and seemed indifferent to this. Not nice!

The furnishings in the apartment certainly seemed on the older side with parts of the material of the chairs peeling off, the creeking beds, and the apartment was not fully cleaned. One of our suite mates went through with wipes to sanitize surfaces within the apartment and found a lot of grime. There were also remnants in the bathrooms from the previous renters.

Overall, the place has a lot of charm and is in a great part of town. The staff was very good at communications and responded quickly to our questions. I also thought that the issue with the cleanliness may have been caused by our request to check in early - which they were able to accommodate

We tried to contact the host of this hotel many times by call and email, because they gave us wrong details of how we can enter the property. Unfortunately they've never contacted us back and we had to wait outside of property until finally the other room guests have passed and let us know correct entrance code. The host just sent us automatic messages after that says in case if we don't check out the room on time, they will charge us extra fees. It was so annoying. Wifi didn't work out very well.

Room was nice there is everything you need.
