It would’ve been nice to know that the plunge pool wasn’t open yet, however it was very windy and we potentially wouldn’t have used it anyway. So it really wasn’t a big deal

I liked everything. One word of caution for tall people though: there are lots of tiny doorways, so you need to bend your head and back sometimes.

Gorgeous studio on the top floor of a beautiful house on the Correderra in Vejer. The studio had a comfy bed, nice furniture and a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view. I had my coffee and breakfast on the terrace every morning. The bathroom is small, but well designed. No TV, but you have the view :) The staff and the owner were just lovely. I had a great time!

Bright sunny room with gorgeous vistas over the valley. Amazing bathroom and shower. Staff incredibly warm friendly, helpful and accommodating. Exciting upgrades are coming with the new all glass dining room with the same vistas. Location is perfect, easy walk to restaurants and shops yet a feeling of spaciousness and expanse. We really liked this place.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in Vejer, and we made the right choice of staying in Encalada. A charming, clean, friendly house in the best location possible, next to great food places with amazing scenery. I am sure we will be back. Thank you, Ana!

If you come by car, being inside the city walls, parking is at a premium. Just down the street is public garage. Parking cost at EUR 22 should be disclosed - maybe it was and I didn't notice

Charming boutique lodging with great view from private terrace. Very good value and the room size was disclosed and accurate and yet very functional. Very cute how they carved this room out immediately under a gabled roof. Would love to be there at a warmer time of the year when the streets had more action as the location was ideal. Women's clothing boutique shop is on first floor and the manager of that doubles as the hotel check-in clerk. Alva was most helpful and pleasant. Owner Willy was very attentive by phone and text, accomodating our late arrival, despite being in Seville attending to his hospitalized wife. Couldn't recommend more highly! Splurged for fabulous EUR 15 breakfast at the nearby Hotel Califa in their lovely garden setting.

Everything was perfect.

Really nice place. Nicely decorated, clean, spacious. Great view from the rooftop. All the amenities that we needed. Paid indoor parking was a little challenging, but only because we had to walk about 7-8 minutes in pouring rain. Great place to stay, highly recommended.

The place is great, with a lot of charm and very nice decoration. The owner was very helpful with tips on things to do and there is a great terrace with magnificent views. I absolutely recommend this place, probably the best of the different hotels we stayed in Spain.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property.

We felt very much at home at Casa Encalada. It is a very special place. I’m Our suite was spacious and comfortable. And we were treated so well by Willy and Anna that it was hard to leave. We would definitely return!

The pool was smaller than expected with only a little bit of water and there were only 2 sun loungers so we couldn’t all relax on the terrace together.

It is a beautiful property, centrally situated in Vejer. The apartment was really thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable.

Very unusual, wonderful suite, called Aqua, with a dreamy rain shower built in the natural rock. Super ample and comfortable, tastefully decorated. Recommended wholeheartedly!!
