Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesCan't think of much. The little bus from Anso to Jaca runs once a day and leaves at 0630 - a bit later would be nice for the return to Jaca. But, honestly, I am sure everyone arrives by car as usually I am the only one on the bus so I wouldn't worry about this.
I have stayed here several times before. According to an official rating of the Spanish Government, Anso is "one of the most beautiful villages in Spain". And it is true. This visit I deliberately traveled the day after holy week so the village was very peaceful. The Casa Rural is located about an 8 minute walk from the central square which is just the perfect distance in high season when the village is full of tourists. The GR15 (a major hiking trail thru the Pyranees) goes very close to the Casa Rural and gives excellent access to the high mountains between Anso and Siresa (which is another little village well worth walking). Zuriza and Linza are a convenient drive away. I always come using a small mountain bus from Jaca but there is convenient parking on the property. The Casa Rural itself has a lovely bedroom (with a very comfortable chair for reading in the evening if it is chilly out) and a comfortable king sized bed. There is a living room with a very nice kitchen. And the bathroom is very clean with a heated towel rack - quite a luxury after hiking in the mountains on a chilly day. One of the owners (Blanca) is a potter and has a shop nearby; well worth perusing as her prices are very reasonable and the work is superb. I always try to pick up something to take home as a gift and my friends have always been pleased with her work. Her daughter now works with her which adds an additional creative input.

United KingdomHouse name at the end of the lane would have helped to find the accommodation. Otherwise it was the perfect stay, and we are planning our next visit already

United StatesThe property is located about a 6 minute walk from the center of the village. My mini apartment included a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen living room. It is located on a major hiking trail thru the Pyranees and is a wonderful natural surrounding. Anso itself is "one of the most beautiful villages in Spain" as voted in a national survey and that certainly is correct. Furthermore, the high pyranees are only 14km drive away up a mountain road from Anso and are spectacular. I recommend the Casa Turreta without reservation.

United KingdomMaybe a few basics provided like oil/salt/pepper/washing up liquid would be a nice welcome. Otherwise a friendly welcome by the hosts.
Casa Turreta is self catering and only a few minutes walk from a general stores/ butchers / panaderia. It is perfectly placed between the Roncal Valley and the Hecho valley and not too far from the French border. Some lovely zig zaggy roads and gorges to visit and walk in

United KingdomThere is a most beautiful drive to the property but be aware of hairpin bends and calculation of time to get there! Late May and only one hostal open for a meal after a long journey. Having said that the food was more than adequate.
The property was on the edge of a beautiful Pyrenean village.it was easy to walk into the village âne trails available from the property. Small kitchen in the sitting room. The owner and wife are Potters and there was a small shop where you could buy their work. Private safe parking.

United KingdomNothing major but we would have preferred more crockery. Tall people should be aware of low beams, especially in the kitchen area.
Very calm and quiet in an attractive setting. Good access into the Anso Valley.

United KingdomKitchenette had an induction hob, which we were not used to using.
We had the upstairs apartment, which had a small outside table and chairs on the access stairs. This caught the sun at the start and end of the day. We were very grateful that Blanca did a wash for us.

United StatesIt was quite warm, so it might’ve been nice to have air-conditioning. But we were able to handle that by opening the apartment windows up at night, and then closing them up during the day. That kept the apartment cool.
The location of the property is great for visiting the Western Valleys Natural Park. We did some hiking in the Anso valley and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very quiet, and there was no problem sleeping. Blanca was very responsive. we were able to check in early and she was able to supply us with a couple of things that I requested.

United KingdomNothing. A bath mat would be useful perhaps
The location was amazing with beautiful walks close by, no noise other than the birds singing and easy 10 minute walk to the lovely village of Ansó. The owner Blanca was lovely and extremely helpful. Her pottery on site is well worth a visit.
