The check-in was not clear. There was no one when we arrived and also same story was for the couple from UK. You need to call them on the phone. When called, they arrived in 5-10 min, so not a problem.

The apartment is just great - clean, spacy, new and modern, has everything you need. The view from the window/ balcony is breathtaking, at least for those who do not live by the sea. The beach is downstairs. There are many shops in the area, a shopping city is in 1km. We had a car so location was perfect, the island is small, so everything was 30 min awsy on the highway.

We had a lovely stay. The flat was very clean. Bed very comfy. The view was really nice. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the Bufadoro blowing! Great host. We were looked after really well. Many locals live in La Garita and even though we don't speak much Spanish, we tried our best and we felt very welcome everywhere we went. It's a beautiful place and there's a strong community there.

I wish we could stay longer...

We stayed for ten days (a couple with kids aged 1, 5 & 7) and we all loved this place. The beach and sand, as well as a very popular local bar & cafeteria, are literally on your doorstep, but at the same time you enjoy complete privacy in the first floor apartment, three metres above it all. The dining room has stunning views of the sea, making you feel like you are in a cabin on a ship. On the beach you will almost only meet Spaniards, mostly locals, who have come to swim or sunbathe after their working day. Don't expect the sterile and artificial cleanliness of the big tourist resorts like Maspalomas; instead, enjoy the local atmosphere! The noise from the pub is drowned out by the roar of the ocean. Be prepared to "fight for a parking space" every night :) Enjoy a pleasant walk along the coast to El Bufadero and further south to the lighthouse. Take the opportunity to watch the local bustle in the bar in the evenings and the football matches of the young men and boys on Saturdays, to listen to the relaxed conversations of the older people every afternoon on the bench next to the door, to see the beautiful sunrises every morning...

The freezer part of refrigerator didn't work and the refrigerator wasn't as cold as it's supposed to be and the unit kept ringing a alarm every 12h or so, that was kinda annoying. Couple times in the shower after 2-3 minutes the cold water pretty much ran out (don't know how's that even possible) and had to finish showering under pretty hot water.

The view was beautiful & apartment nice and clean. Host was nice, she didn't speak much English, but translating app saved the day. No need to worry about the fact that the apartment seems to be in a busy place, it was nice and quiet during the nights and during daytime too. (At least in the beginning of March) We had couple questions and the host replied to us really fast and even offered to recommend us some places worth visiting. Definitely would stay there again.

Great location, right on the beach. Nice little sandy beach. Nicely furnished, nice custom-built kitchen. Separate bedroom. Not spacious, but well-thought apartment layout.

I think the advert should make it clear that this is not Las Palmas central, it can be quite a treck with or without a car to get into town.

My friend and I stayed in Cruzy's lovely top floor apartment near Telde for two weeks this January. It was wonderful. A beautiful serene view of the sea and la Garita beach was the perfect start to 2022. The flat was spotless, perfect for self catering and remote workers. There are a string of lovely, clean beaches on the doorstep, some top notch bars and restaurants and great amenities - notably supermarkets. We loved our stay here and are grateful to Cruzy for her hospitality. This is perfect for those wanting some sunshine and serenity. And oh that balcony with the sun shining - we'll meet again. The location is suberb. Especially for parents with kids. There is a beach just in front of the main entrance. Our host Cruzy was perfect. Accidentaly we booked smaller appartment (our foult) and to avoid our disappointment she invited us for breakfast.

no salt, no, oil, no sugar, no papertowels, no washing machine detergente, only one capsule of coffie and some water and soft drinks for free at arrival, only 4 towels for 4 persons:)). no aircon!

I just can’t explain how great was this apartment, location is 5* directly on the beach. A lot of free parking around in the late october beginning of november. Cozy pizza cafe downstairs with amazing personal. Apartment was CRAZY clean, I have never seen so clean space!! There were not even I one peace of dust, not a hair, not a dried water drop, hospital clean!!! amazing! we had apartment at 1 floor with 2 bedrooms and small living room, everuthing was great! Hostess Cruzy was very helpfull and smiling:)) they dont speak english. :)) a lot of laughs trough google translate.

Apartment is tiny. It's nice that they provide baby cot but if you put it to the bedroom you can barely move around or get to the wardrobe. Wifi works few seconds per day Not suitable for family with baby as there is no elevator and stairs are not very wide so it's hard to get the pram up to the apartment Restaurant downstairs is quite loud

The location is perfect. The only thing was the apartment lacked of many basic things. The towels are old, we only have 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days of stay. The kitchen is not equip. No kitchen towels, salt, coffee, chopping board. It wasn’t friendly for a family with baby or kids as taking the stairs was a challenge. The wifi also barely works.

Parking is in a public lot and not very easy to get a spot, depending on time of day. We had trouble finding parking several times and to keep driving around waiting for someone to leave. Note there is no lift - you have to carry your luggage up some narrow stairs, not a deal-breaker, just be aware. Unfortunately during our stay there was a VERY BAD sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom for the duration our stay. It was so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times, but could still smell it. We went to the nearest market to buy multiple scented candles to try and overcome the bad smell - it barely helped. It was also intensely windy during our stay (july), which made it difficult to try and keep the windows open for better ventilation. There must have some problem with the sewer system - that cannot possibly be normal!

Very friendly host greeted us to provide the keys and also gave us good recommendations on places to visit. Balcony and ocean view was nice, just a bit narrow. Apartment is small but adequate, had the basics. Beachfront location was good (unfortunately it was too windy to enjoy it - sand blowing across the beach most of the time). The host who greeted us was wonderful, she gets maximum points!
