The host is super kind and friendly. The room and the shared areas like kitchen and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The hostel is close to the bus station (5 minutes walking even less). It's convenient to use the public transport to the other cities in Asturias (around 30 minutes to Oviedo and Aviles one way; 5 euros for the bus return ticket). The closest beach is a few minutes walking away. There are great restaurants and bars nearby.

I had a wonderful experience here, the host is really friendly, it has clean and lovely room, with all the facility you can think of, hightlight for washing machine and dryer, I am really thinking to stay one more day in here but decided to move on with my camino, but highly recommend this hostel to anyone who are looking for a nice place to stay in Gijon!

The stay at the hostel was really good. The location is great, the kitchen and bathrooms fully equipped and the people working there are incredibly nice. If you happen to stay there, go ask Alfonso if he knows a long German word ;) We had a wonderful time

We were surprised to find the owners have set up a small kitchenette with cooking facilities, kettle, coffee machine, endless supplies of coffee pods, tea bags, bread, butter, jam, cookies, tiny breakfast bread, etc, all complimentary for their houseguests.They even had a tiny living room for houseguests to relax. David our host was very helpful and kind too.

There's nothing that was disappointing to us. The only thing to be aware of is that the rooms are on the second floor, no escalator.

Alfonso is the best manager ever, the perfect example of what customer centric means. The hostel is unbelievable clean and modern, but at the same time cosey with lots of beautiful details. The location is ideal, just a few hundred meters away from the coast, old town and harbour. This was truly value for money. Compliments for the owners who apparently prefer quality and customer satisfaction above quick profit.

Very good hostel in the city centre. The rooms, bathrooms are very clean. There is a common kitchen with fridge, coffee machine and a living room where you could read or eat. Few shared bathrooms are extremely clean, all are with showers and may be locked, so no problem with the privacy at all. The room was also clean and nice (we had a private double room). Check in process is easy.

The hostel was lovely, clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and let us leave our bags there after we checked out. The location is great, close to the bus station, the city centre and the beach. There was basic breakfast food, like toast, butter and jam, cookies, coffee, and tea, available in the kitchen. It has a lovely common space and wifi.
