Staff, location and cleanliness was just perfect. All the main attractions are a short walk away. Restaurant area and metro station right next door.

A small refrigerator could be very helpful and a microwave oven but it's fine, I could stay again if I return to Madrid

Breakfast was not included but the location was excellent, all the points of interest were within walking distance and that is definitely very important.

My room overlooked the Puerto Del Sol square which was noisy Friday and Saturday. I'm a good sleeper and ear plugs sorted things. Other minor niggle was having to give room keys in before you went out each time and buzz to be let in.

it's kind of hard to get to (in the centro) and it's a little high up in the building so getting in and out is a little annoying. But this is how most hostels are over there.

I booked this place on a 2 hour notice because my baggage was lost on the way to spain. The place is clean, quiet, private rooms/bathrooms, and great staff. Couldn't ask for much more.

They exceeded my expectations. The accommodation is very central, very close to public transport and on foot you can visit the whole historic center without any worries! The facility as well as the room were very clean. Ironed sheets, in the bathroom with everything you need. The ladies are so kind and ready to help and answer any of your questions or needs, that I can only thank them for everything! The room faced the street, but the windows of the room are so well soundproofed that there was no noise (air conditioning was used). A stay in the heart of the historic city that I really recommend to everyone!!!

Hard to find/little signage, must buzz you into the building and you must leave your key when leaving the room. The beds were a little uncomfortable but not too bad for hotel beds.

The location was perfect, literally at the busiest part of Madrid’s centre. The ladies from the reception were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!!

We felt very welcome and loved the centres location, which made it very easy to get around and see Madrid and surrounding towns. We were helped by the owner when some temporary road works outside started and she kindly found us a quieter room. A lovely stay!

Building work opposite, whole area is dug up ad noisy. Work started at 7am. This is not the fault of the Hostel.

Noisy neighbourhood and hard to find the entrance.

Staff is very kind and helpful. Room is sparkling clean, shower is good and everything is functional, despite being on a very old building. For those who like nightlife, location is perfect.

I have lived in Madrid and visit there frequently. Hostal Ana Belen is the best place I have stayed in the city in my many visits. Great location, well appointed rooms and common areas, very helpful staff, unbeatable price.
