Very loud outside I was here three days with the average temperature of 80° in Madrid. I asked the manager to please turn the air conditioner on. He refused, stating that it was not the time of the year.

Great location, 100 feet to Anton Martin Metro station(to airport, trains, buses). Same for bakery, convenience store restaurants, and bars. Secure building, very clean property, nice staff ,and comfortable beds.Very walkable area. One Metro station from Prado and Sophia museums.My go to when in Madrid.

There was a small in the stairs that I think it is related to the age of the building. Nothing intolerable though.

Location was very good. The hotel is under reconstruction so some of its interior feels very old and needing maintenance. Having said that everything was clear and stuff was super friendly.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. My way to land to Madrid was nightmare (flight delayed and missed my flight to Madrid, arrived in Madrid one day late, and baggage delayed). I contacted the about these problems and asked adjustments, and they dealt things with smiles. I was disappointed that I needed to change plans, but they made my days in Madrid brighter. Also, the room and other facilities were always super clean (even from the view of Japanese). The location is good for reaching the major Museums on foot. I definitely will stay here when I would visit Madrid. And I totally recommend.

Very clean and has everything you need. The location os excellent and only a few minutes walk from Atocha station where buses to the airport can be found and to Plaza Mayor and most museums. Also a 15-20 minute walk to El Retiro park. Best thing is it is right across Mercado San Anton and has a metro stop just outside the building. Locks are automated and the rooms are airconditioned.

The walls of the rooms are a bit too thin, you can hear the people in the next room quite easy

I had a bedroom without a bathroom. A bathroom was always available and just a few steps away from my room.

While I couldn't head the noise from the street, I did need to wear earplugs because you could easily hear noise in the other rooms, especially when taps were turned on or toilets flushed. The bed was also a little too hard for my liking.

The location is unbeatable. While it's close to public transport, I spent all my time walking around and could easily stop back for an afternoon siesta. It's also walking distance from the Attocha train station, you can get trains from there all over Spain and also get a direct bus from the airport there for 5EUR. (It is, however, a steep walk uphill from the station to the hostal, so if you have a lot of luggage you may prefer another means of transport). Keyless entry worked seamlessly.

A good location, very close from tha Atocha station, at walking distance to the main attraction, a small but clean room, kind staff, a lot of bakery and restaurants nearby.

checking in online and sending/emailing the codes if you arrive after 6 pm is unnecessarily complicated. the second code, to get in the room did not work, so I had to phone a nice lady who let me in remotely. There was an electronic key on my door waiting for me anyway, which I was not told about and made the second code unnecessary in the first place

all good, as advertised and as expected: no frills room for the night, clean, comfortable, nice shower
