Getting in felt like and escape room. Lots of codes and locks. Also on the second day when I came back there were 3 construction men in my room drilling holes and stuff. I would've appreciated if I was been noticed about this so I could've had my stuff in a suitcase or something, but they were spread out because I didn't know there was work to be done! Also for a person with difficulties to breathe during allergy season there were lots of construction dust left behind.

The room smells smoke. I requested for change of towel and didnt respond for several days. I could hear the noise from people. It says in the fine print there is provided tv but there was none. No trashbin which i requested, nothing provided.

Small rooms. No air conditioner is working at the room. No wardrobe. My room’s window was at the inner side of the building, so I was missing privacy because I could hear neighbours, otherwise I had to shut the windows but its too hot ( again- no air conditioner).

The room is not comfortble, too much noisy too much small and the toilette is really not for normal people. No phon availble. There isn't wardrobe and nothing for close the window like a shutter. We ask a solution but nobody help us.

Air con is a lie and when contacted they said it would be fixed but that was also a lie. No doors on the shower, so you can only imagine the mess this made. Overall awful place and would not recommend one bit.

The hostel absolutely needs renovation. Also, it's dirty there. First of all, the air conditioning did not work. In the room was hotter than outside, which made it impossible to sleep there and caused health problems. The temperature even in the morning stayed above 30 ℃. We made a complaint about the air conditioning but the hostel owner ignored us. The anti-burglary roller blind on the balcony door was broken (can only be lowered half way) and the balcony door was demage and couldn't be close. The balcony was shared with the second room, which meant that other hostel guests, becaouse of the broken door, could have free access to our room. There was no daily cleaning as stated in the offer. Garbage was not taken out, towels were not changed, toilet paper was not replenished. The shower cubicle was broken and one door was missing, making the whole bathroom wet after taking a bath. There was fungus on the tiles in the bathroom. On bed linien were visible washed traces of blood. Photos attached to the offer do not reflect the condition of the hostel

Although the hostel is located in the city center, the location is not very good. Homeless people sleep in the square by the street and the streets are very dirty.

Check in procedure

Location good clean room with nothing other than chair and desk. No coffee making facility and no entry foyer, nor reception area nor staff to facilitate a rather awful phone in check in service. Despite assurances that staff would be there to open door this did not occur ! and I did not have a phone to contact them. So be aware

Do not stay here!! We had a very unpleasant experience and paid a lot of money for it. I stayed in many hostels but this was by far my worst experience considering value for money. The room had a terrible bad drain smell coming from the bathroom, which never went away even by always keep the window open, the sheets were dirty (we found someone else’s hair in the bed), the ceiling seemed to be falling apart on top of us, the bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, the building key was defective and we were always afraid to be locked outside… and all of this without any staff on site to talk or complain to!
