Had to call three times to as many people people to get someone to come to check me in. Room is spartan with capital S. Lift is good for one person at a time.

Simple and inexpensive hostal room. Nothing fancy, bare bones. Very quiet and relatively close to the Tetuán metro station. Nice bar and minimarket in the ground floor just outside of the building. Very large and comfortable bed. Nice smelling bathroom towels. Nice building!

The room is really small, which in fact is acceptable since we did not intend to spend much time there. The real problem was the cleanliness! When we were changing our sheets (they give you new sheets but you have to change them), we noticed that the new sheets were dirty!!! Ended up using some of the old sheets and some of the new (the ones without stains).

The great value is the location. Quiet neighborhood that allows you to check nearly all Barcelona's highlights without having to commute. We stayed 4 nights and only used the bus once! The rest of the days we just got to our destination walking.

I basically slept in a closet, 3m2 with no window, crockroaches in my bed and on the floor and huge stains on the wall. The toilet and shower was outside in an actual closet, there was no sink, the toilet smelled terribly and the shower was so dirty that I was afraid to use it. The other rooms seemed ok, but the closet I was given was below dignity. Even prison.cells are of higher quality! It was also extremely loud, you could hear every step and every word of people in other rooms. I have a lot of photos and videos to confirm this.

They don't speak English at all, but manageable. No staff during overnight.

Rooms were good, Friendly and supportive staff. The lad over there lend me an umbrella when we had to go out in the rain. Good restaurants nearby. Good value for money to stay in the centre, highlight is just walkable distance for most attractions!

The room was a glorified cupboard. and in the summer it will be like an oven. the bathroom is down the hall but it's your own private one which is great but it is tiny. Getting into the shower was like trying to fit a hippo into a phone box. If you're over 4 foot tall this isn't the place for you.

If you're looking at this it's because it's within your budget. If you have more funds then look elsewhere if not then its fine. 2 nights max. Great location and its a roof over your head in an awesome city.

The single room with separate private bathroom was the worst room I’ve ever booked. It was so tiny it felt like a closet. It had a sliding door that even when closed would let people walking down the hall peak inside. the bathroom extremely small and the shower doors didn’t close fully, meaning water outside of the shower.

shower head could not be fixed in one position, no hair conditioner or lotion provided. The main door lock did not work properly though neighborhood seemed safe.

The staff is still cleaning our room when we checked-in. We find it hard to communicate because the receptionist cannot speak english.

The behavior of the hosts is terrible, I have traveled a lot and I have never seen such a disgraceful behavior

Nothing went well. Although I had booked the room two months ago, and the check-in time was until 21.00, when I arrived at 19.30 the door outside the hotel was closed and the bell was not ringing. There were a couple of telephone numbers scribbled in a paper outside, none of which I could call. Luckily, someone staying in the hotel was coming back and opened the door for me, and she tried unsuccessfully to call the receptionist. She was very kind and directed me to the next door grocery store where owners seemed to know the hotel people. However, they were extremely unkind and it took me quite some time to convince them to call someone from the hotel. Finally someone came, after a whole hour of waiting, and what shocked me the most was the unprofessional behaviour of the receptionist, he did not say one single word of apology, and behaved as if everything was normal. Places like this hotel are a disgrace for such a wonderful city as Barcelona.

You can hear every single cough from the other rooms. I had absolutely no problem with that but if someone has stark insomnia, they should know.

The room has everything you need. The terrace is huge and just magnificent! The view is even better than in the pictures. I was very surprised because the price was so favorable!
