The most unique and interesting hotel I have ever stayed in. So much history, it's just fascinating. Great location, walking or short taxi ride to all the main sites. Very helpful staff, especially when getting lost in the hotel!

Basement Breakfast room airless and noisy. Bathroom and wc rather dated with a pervasive smell of old drains. Hairdryer old fashioned.

Beautiful, quirky building. Good location, easy stroll to historic area, lovely rooftop area with pool. Breakfast buffet offers a variety of foodstuffs. Spacious room, great towels and linens . Little courtyards and patios throughout, plants and fountains.

Most of the staff were amazing, really polite and helpful but one or two could be unhelpful and appeared, at best, apathetic and at worst, rude.

Absolutely stunning, unique hotel full of beautiful courtyards and secret tunnels. We were still finding new places we hadn't been on the last day of our trip. The rooms are individualistic, historical but very comfortable, even the economy rooms. The piano bar is a must, with luxurious rooms providing a nice quiet place to relax after the noise of the local bars. The pool area was great on a hot day with plenty of shade blinds but beware the pool is not heated and it takes a while to get used to the cold, yet refreshing water.

Shame it doesn’t have a restaurant for dinner - but there are so many great restaurants in Seville, this isn’t a problem

Brilliantly quirky! A rabbit warren of corridors, patios and tunnels. Different to any other hotel we’ve stayed at.

We were very happy with our room which was a good size and very light. Our friends’ room was smaller and quite dark and gloomy and only about £15/night less so I would say was quite expensive for what one got overall for a hotel. I asked for coffee as they only provided tea in the room and was told that wasn’t possible. I know instant coffee isn’t great but if one doesn’t drink tea it would have been fine. It’s a small thing, I know, but it’s an expensive hotel and not an unreasonable request. Another thing that I would never have mentioned if it had been dealt with differently. When we returned to our room in the afternoon the room was beautifully clean but the dirty tea cups were still there. I’ve never spent this much money on a hotel and I found this a bit shoddy. I mentioned it quietly on our way out that evening and the man on Reception said ‘I can’t do anything about that’. I said I didn’t expect any action, I thought he’d want to be made aware. Had he said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry about that’ I’d have forgotten all about it. I’m afraid his arrogant reply lingers and I would think twice before returning.

It’s absolutely beautiful. The reception area is quite stunning with its columns, Moorish tiles, rattan furniture and potted ferns. The pathways which meander through the garden courtyards to various parts of the hotel are magical.
