Absolutely nothing

Absolutely everything, we really could not have a better time. It really looks like in the photos. Since you get in you really get absorbed by the Slim Aarons style and the old school Italian dolce vita magic! The premises are really stunning specially in the pool. It’s very tranquil and it has such a good energy. The waking up in the morning is magnificent with the views from the room and the music could not be better for all those who appreciate the classics and have French and Italian music culture. The stuff is equally magnificent and always there to really make you feel home. Most of the are Spanish and Italian and for someone Spanish like me who’s lives abroad it’s really a plus. Food is also great and the deco is a 10!

Beautiful, elegant hotel and rooms with character that made our stay such a treat! The sea view is incredible, the breakfast full of options and the staff very friendly. The hotel manager is a fantastic person as well, we had a beautiful conversation and he made sure everything was fine during our stay. Cannot recommend it enough and we are already looking forward to our comeback!

I stayed at Mongibello for 3 nights for work. And oh my god ! What a gorgeous place with amazing staff. Breakfast was insane one of the best buffets I’ve had. Pool is gorgeous and vibes are unmatched.

Liked everything pretty much - breakfast did seem to end a little before 11 which caught us out a bit but that’s probably it.

Very cool hotel, strong vibe and does its Italian theme very well. Its location is great with beautiful views of the bay. The suites are definitely worth going for but even the smaller rooms were extremely comfortable. Had an amazing nights sleep and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Staff were lovely.

Nothing really! There was a photoshoot for a high-end french fashion brand one day, which was fun to see at first but it was a little annoying that it went on almost all day, meaning we couldnt use the pool. It's an amazing setting for a photoshoot but perhaps there should have been an earlier cut off time.

Absolutely fabulous stay. The hotel is even prettier in person, totally retro and gorgeous. The staff couldn't be nicer, every single team member we came in contact with was particularly lovely and welcoming and seemed genuinely happy in their jobs. There was a really feel good atmosphere at all times. The breakfast is also incredible. They have everythinggggg. We ate so much more than we would normally for breakfast because it was so delicious!! Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

There is a well stocked mini bar in the room with drinks that require opening, however no bottle opener. We asked if one could be provided and were told someone would come to our room to open each individual drink. The first time this took 25mins so we went and bought a bottle opener ourselves. I’d suggest if stocking non-twist too drinks, then a bottle opener in each room should be provided. A request for an ironing board took over an hour at which point, we needed to leave for the day.

Breakfast was fantastic, as was our room. One of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed in of late, service was a little slow by UK standards but staff were very kind and friendly. We will certainly return! Book room 136 for late afternoon sun on the private terrace.

I'm really grasping at straws here, but the fact the balcony light didn't have a switch in the room and was on a timer was slightly confusing. But simultaneously the room had very good blackout curtains so it was not an issue.

The breakfast was of a really high standard with plenty of choice. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the service was really good. The Mongibello is a hotel run by Concept Hotels Group and they have very much committed to the Amalfi coast aesthetic and theme, the design of the entire hotel and the rooms is beautiful, even down to the staff uniforms. Having booked early in the season the hotel was relatively quiet and so the overall experience was exceptional, hopefully they can manage to keep this great standard when the hotel is very busy in high season. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay, it was close to perfection for a 4 day trip.

I am a very easy going person so there was nothing which I didn’t like

It was very nice and clean. You can lay down n relax with a viewpoint of River n village houses on top of hill. Staff were very polite n welcoming. Village center was at walking distance from hotel and way to village was with river sidewalk which looks very beautiful n calm.

Bad soundproofing. We could hear our neighbours clomping round in noisy shoes and moving stuff around. On a rainy day the gym was closed for renovation or something., a shame as it was too wet to go out.

Lovely hotel with great pool and outside facilities. An easy walk into town. Very comfortable beds and plenty of breakfast choices. The staff are all really helpful and friendly.

That I couldn’t order food in the restaurant and take up to my room. I had to order off a special room service menu. That menu was not the same as the restaurant.

Absolutely everything it was superb! Amazing location, lovely view, ery clean everywhere, delicious breakfast and prompt staff members. Amazing Michaela and Carmen who were serving me at the pool, and Nicu as well were very friendly and quick with my orders. They also surprised me with a birthday cake made especially for me!lovely and unexpected surprise! Thank you so much! 10/10 for everything. I highly recommend to everyone! From the reception you gonna feel a very warm welcome and very good energy!

The double bed was actually two separate single beds pushed together which was a bit annoying but that is my only complaint. I loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

There was one receptionist that had a bad attitude and tutted when our front key for our room had to be changed twicw, the first time was not our fault, but the second was (my son was asleep in the room and so I had to get a copy), I felt a bit miffed about that. The rest of the staff were lovely

1. unheated outdoor swimming pool 2. The room card and towel card is the same colour which is very confusing. It would be better if they have a different colour. The room card can be blue and the towel card should be white. At least, it will be easier to recognise specially for elderly guest as well. When we return the towel, the staff gave us a room key card, obviously she didn't even notice that the other guests gave her a room card instead of the towel card. 3. We had to check out at 7 AM because we have an early flight. The lady in the reception said that because we won't be able to have breakfast (20 euros per person), she will arrange something for us from the kitchen so we can bring some food. Unfortunately when we check out, the male receptionist said that there's nothing arrange or noted like that on their system. I think they should not offer things like that if they can't make sure that they will provide it.

It is very clean. The ambiance and aesthetic of the hotel was excellent. It is exactly what was shown on the photos. It's quiet and you can really relax and have a proper rest even in the pool side. The view of the sea from the pool side was surreal.
