Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe check in experience was very stressful, as the records we not updated, although we had already paid. The staff was understanding, after I showed all the receipts and proof of payment.
Great location, and great breakfast! The space was modern and comfortable. The rooms are not very big, but are comfortable, more than enough for what we needed (somewhere to sleep after a day skiing!).

SpainDuring the day shift, the tables inside & outside of the bar/restaurant needed cleaning. We wiped the table ourselves as nobody came to do it.
Very friendly staff, warm hotel, good breakfast buffet, compact room but good for the price paid.

United KingdomBit simple breakfast however it’s what is expected with a budget hotel. Shower pressure was a little low on this particular stay.
This IBIS Granada is situated with plenty of free parking all around the location. It is tucked away nicely from the hustle and bustle of Granada so you can get a peaceful sleep however you are never too far away from getting to all the best spots. Simple check in and very fast convenient check out system in place.

BelgiumThe location is not ideal but the center is still easily accessible with the bus.
The room was up to standards of Ibis Hotels. We had a quiet night in a comfy bed. The breakfast was slightly overpriced but we enjoyed it. The parking is big and reasonably priced.

SpainWe had to open the window at night as the room did get a little hot. But when we opened the window, we slept very well and there was no noise in the streets.
What a great place! The hotel is basic but extremely clean and quiet. There was a little terrace outside to enjoy the sunshine in winter, we understand the pool is only open in the summer. The room was a good size, the bathroom was fine and all clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Like many Ibis hotels, this one has a motorway nearby, but the soundproofing works and noise was not an issue. It is a little far away from the main centre of town, the Alhambra and that area. You can catch a bus (Staff were very helpful to explain where and how often the buses ran) but we used Taxis. From the hotel to the centre it is about 12 euros. You can walk back as it is all downhill. The breakfast offered good variety of choices and was fine - don't look for bacon and eggs because it's a 'continental style' breakfast. We had an evening meal there which was very good - our compliments to Nieves, the cook!! The staff were very polite and helpful. I can't remember all the names but the Head of Reception was lovely with us, as were Alejandro and Sonia. What a great team from Reception, Kitchen to Cleaning at Ibis Granada, congratulations!

United KingdomNo British breakfast (cooked). Room a little hot with no way of controlling Aircon, left window open to compensate.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable bed. Parking great for 4x4 vehicle. Reasonable prices at bar. Continental breakfast (which we didn't try). However, if you like black coffee, this was delish. Easy to find. 40 mins walk to centre of town or very easy bus no. 21 or 5 to centre of granada.
