Super conveniently located by highway, so perfect on a long drive. Clean sheets, hot shower. Basic appointed room. But bar downstairs looked to have nice selection of tapas and wines. Great surroundings for dog walks - dog friendly with 15eur additional charge.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. My really annoying and very aggravating problem was that due to insufficient correct information supplied by Booking.com, we were taken on a tour of rural Spain resulting in us being led down country roads into small villages and. stupid dead end roads and streets, It is not sufficient to give a Postal Address. An exact address including full coordinates must be given. Full details of contact telephone numbers must be supplied. I will not ever again book through Booking .Com. Two and a half hours of aimless driving seeking the Hotel with a sat nav giving an endless number of locations was to put it mildly very frustrating. In future I will book direct with hotels and thereby ensure that I am fully informed.

the very warm welcome by the proprietor. Giving the very late hour of arrival, she very graciously supplied us with a beautifully cooked meal. The bedroom was comfortable and the on suite bathroom immaculate. A beautiful country location with magnificent views and rural scenes of cattle sheep. A farmers dream! The staff were very attentive and ensured we wanted for nothing.

The initial impression from the road was poor because of the truck stop but move past it. It is worth it!

Located approximately half way between Lisbon and Santander, this was an overnight stop which exceeded my expectations. It is an old road house hotel located on a bypassed road west of Salamanca and initial impressions were not too good as it is behind a truck stop BUT the hotel has pleasant gardens and a very niche bar. The rooms are basic but good and comfortable in a traditional Spanish style. The food in the restaurant is good and one review said it was the best steak in Spain. I concur! Yes stop here if travelling between Santiago Port and Portugal. A good overnight stopping place for a rest and a good meal.

The door into the accommodation was locked so you had to go through the bar/restaurant to get in and out.

Excellent location if you are travelling. The hotel is very close to the A62 motorway, easy to find, but is set back from the road so there is little or no traffic noise, especially if you request a room at the back. The rooms are rustic, but perfectly adequate and everything is super clean. The food in the restaurant is amazing and plentiful for the price. Staff and owners are friendly and helpful, English is spoken. This was our second stay here and we will be back again next year

Access to room involved going through puddles of water, going upstairs, No trolley available, No lift. No truly secure parking. If they had shown us somewhere in the info a photo of the petrol station, it would have been easier to find. Movement detectors in the rooms or corridors would have been appreciated. The wifi code could have been displayed to that it would be automatically accessible.

Clean, open till midnight, easy reception. Comfortable beds, Bathroom clean and well proportioned. Sanitary goods supplied, Warm enough in this winter weather. Plenty of spaces for parking.

One concern was on rising early we were surprised to find there was no exit from the hotel, all doors were locked with no sign of any staff on the premises. Had to wait for the staff to arrive so we could take the dog out. This was a little concerning in case of emergency, fire etc. How would we have got out ?

Easy to find near to the A62 motorway but set far enough away that you dont hear the traffic. Pet friendly with plenty of space to walk the dog. Nice terrace with outside entertainment either music or the football on a large screen. Good food at reasonable prices.

We booked as it was a half way point on travelling from Sam Sebastian to Algarve Very easy to get too off the motorway. The staff were patient as I Google translated everything. We stayed for dinner which was tasty, quality and good price. The theme of the hotel is bullfighter and I enjoyed the history. Handy petrol station in same complex. Bathroom lovely.
