How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely nothing!
Absolutely everything, from the wonderful reception on arrival from Raul to the superb breakfast. The location is first class with 3rd floor terrace facing directly to sea. Swimming pool and jacuzzi on 4th level excellent.

The luggage rack was too small and it was difficult to unpack and then repack. I think a hand/hair conditioner would have been useful. These are minor issues and did not detract from our stay
Bfast was excellent. Raoul and team were courteous , efficient and welcoming. Location perfect. Views from patio areas lovely. The honesty bar was also an added bonus. Comfortable relaxed and safe ambience.

The only bad point was no balcony but this was compensated by a 2nd floor terrace and 3rd floor large plunge type pool.

Would have liked the availability to hire some beach towels as so near to beach and with travelling round towels were a no no in cases.
The Host Raul greeted us with gusto! and could not have done more, always available at breakfast, always busy making sure things tidy and filled, excellent breakfast . Roof top area was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the port.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic - super friendly check-in, lovely rooms, great roof terrace with honesty bar. Perfect location close to cafes, bars and restaurants, and an amazing breakfast to start your day is the icing on the cake!

Strange that local garbage service comes between two and four o clock, making sleep dificult.

The room we had this time was smaller than our last stay but that was the only downside for us.
The staff are exceptional 👍👏 so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The breakfast was absolutely excellent 😋🤗

The bedroom could have done with a bit more storage.
The hotel is modern, really well maintained and exceptionally clean. It is located on the main street (Marques de Campo) and ideal for shopping sightseeing etc. The room was a good size with a really comfortable bed, lovely shower / bathroom etc. The layout of the hotel is a bit 'quirky' but easy to get around. Breakfast is buffet style and very good - loads of fresh fruit , tea / coffee etc.

Although the room was clean and comfortable there was a lack of drawers/storage for the clothes etc.
The location is faultless. The staff are brilliant. The breakfast choices are abundant with everything fresh and laid out perfectly, it was also nice to have a choice to eat breakfast inside or outside on the sun terrace.

Nothing to dislike about this hotel
This is a small boutique style hotel in a excellent location. Raul the manager and his team are very friendly and helpful. Clean spacious rooms, lovely breakfast. Nice roof area with small plunge pool. No main bar but the roof has a small honestly bar with a good selection of drinks and snacks. Will definitely stay here again.

Maybe.....'sell yourself.more, do people know what a great overall hotel you are,? Not the largest, but size is not always everything....I found you on booking.com. However, I had previously seen the Hotel by walking by..........wow..' I actually thought I could not afford to stay at Maison Maison. I was so pleased I could. I cannot fault my two stays....this is my second
Central position in Denia's main shopping and restaurant area. Stepping outside the front door to an endless aray of everything you need for an amazing holiday or business stay. There are beaches a short walk away and two Ports. Maison Marineta is a restoration of an old building into a deco type style Hotel with an up to date modern twist. An honesty bar on floor 3 , where you can sit snd enjoy a drink watching boats sailing to and fro. There's a plunge pool on floor 4, suitable for people with a disability. Rooms are very comfortable, with a great shower and large TV. A really amazing buffet breakfast too The lovely staff can do more. I even had a little dance with one, while he helped me....'find a really large tea cup......he knew I was British'. Well done all....Staff, Designers and Architects.
