How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing at all. May be if they can fix a kind of a curtain like the one they made for the cupboard between the bed and the sofa to give done privacy.
The Studio was so well equipped in a way that exceeded our expectations. It has all appliances including iron, blow dry and a microwave. Strong internet. New pack that includes cloth’s detergent, kitchen sponge, kitchen towel, dish soap and even dish washer capsule. The sofa bed opens to a king size bed. It has a dinning table, lots of toilet rolls, and all kitchen tools you might need and much more. Everything is mint clean and almost new. We had a unit with back view so it was excellent as it was quit and away from noise. As for location, it was second to none. Best area in Barcelona. I can’t say enough about this apartment. The host is also super kind, helpful and friendly. Very spacious studio even for 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant. They put a baby crib for us too. Very secured building as you can only enter with an access card. We truly loved it.

The instructions for the washer/dryer don’t match up so it was really annoying trying to work it out online researching the correct manual to match the model to work out what the symbols meant
It’s located right in the middle of everything, which was great. Agustin was really good in welcoming us and the house keepers left the room really tidy and clean

we were on a cruise ship and arrived early prior to check in (approximately 9am) and we were greeted by Mariana who held our bags in the office and then moved them to the apartment and sent us a text to state the room was ready. super easy. she gave us the keys in the morning so it was very easy to get into the apartment once it was ready. the apartment was very clean. our room was towards the back, so we did not have a view of the Ramblas but the location of this apartment was super convenient. Right across from the Boqueria Market (must see) and about mid-way on the Ramblas. We did the hop on bus and it was just a few minute walk to the main starting point. I was visiting with my 2 children who slept on the pull out couch and they stated that it was comfy. check out was super easy - we left the keys on the kitchen table and closed the door behind us.

The apartament was great.It was very clean and it had everything we needed.There is a small kitchenette with dishwasher fridge, laundry washing machine etc. The location is great with a lot of restaurants,cafeterias ,supermarket, Boqueria market very close.

Apartment was awesome! Host greeted us as we arrived - location is phenomenal. Definitely recommended this location to others!! Will definitely be back when we decide to go back to Barcelona.

Having only one elevator. Shower stall was tight.
Location was convenient to stores and places to eat. We loved that St Joseph’s market was across the street from the apt. Our apt was on the backside of the apt and was very quiet.

The heat on the 6th floor
I loved the good quality of the air/airconditioner. And how quite and peaceful the apartment is at the same time as the location is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. I would love to stay there again.

The only downside to this unit was that they did not give us new coffee pods the second day....that was about the only negative! Bed was a tad on the firm side for my taste.
The hostess came and opened the room ahead of the posted opening time to accommodate us arriving early, unexpectedly/unplanned. They emailed about a week ahead of time on their own to confirm arrival, as well. Location here is PERFECT. Right on La Rambla and across the very not-busy street and promenade to the gigantic marketplace. You really can't beat the location. The unit was huge!

Can't complain much at all about this place, but the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable...then again, not sure that's all that unusual.
Staff was friendly and helpful, the apartment was very clean, loved the space with the separate bedroom and kitchen! And the location was excellent. Felt very safe there, and even though we were right on La Rambla the noise was not a problem at all.
