Made very welcome at reception on arrival. Jasmin was particularly helpful. So many staff faces remembered from last year which must be a good sign that staff too are happy! It shows. Everything was just as we expected from a previous visit, and we were not disappointed in any aspect of our stay.

The only thing was on our first visit we had a beautiful walk in shower and as we are both elderly stepping in and out of the bath, this time, was not so easy. Having said that, it did not spoil our holiday and everything else was perfect.

This was our second visit to Valentin Reina so we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed.

The TV was in German!

The place was very relaxing off-season, the room was comfortable and the robes and slippers provided were a nice extra. The indoor pool was great also. All in all we really enjoyed our stay!

Tables too close together. I felt quite uncomfortable and choose not to eat in the restaurant despite paying for it. My table (69) was squeezed between 2 food stations, a server station and too close to a group of Germans who were very noisy.

There was no coffee/tea or water provided in the room. But we booked with breakfast/buffet included so it wasn't really an issue.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff very fliendly. Close to the beach (about 4 min walking distance) and the hotel in general very beautiful.

The biggest disappointment was that at dinner time you have to pay additionally for the drinks (there were no menus what other drinks you can choose other than alcohol), when we booked this hotel we didn’t see anywhere that this would be mentioned. So if you plan your budget you have to think about drinks which cost around 5-8 euros per person.

We really enjoyed this hotel, it was clean and calm, the staff was really nice and helpful.

A little dated decor, no complimentary coffee or tea in room. Breakfast very varied - however selection noticeably catered to German older tourists. I would have liked to have Spanish breakfast offered as a main.

Clean and very nice touches - like offering a glass of cava on check in. We also had a small bottle of complimentary cava in the room. Good quality toiletry products, nice touch with the robe and slippers.

The sound proofing as you could hear people in the bathroom in neighbouring room and the live entertainment was quite loud in the evening.

The hotel was perfectly located, near some fabulous bars and restaurants and the beach. It was spotlessly clean with a great pool area. My room was lovely with a wonderful sea view
