A beautiful hotel in the heart of Torla. A friendly welcome in perfect English (to make up for our very poor Spanish!) with lots of helpful tips and information. We had the spacious family room with two separate bedrooms, a seating area, and a small kitchenette, which worked very well for us. We loved the small bar each evening - perfect after a day’s walking. Easy open air parking close by even with a large car. We would highly recommend a stay and plan to return! Torla itself is a walker’s paradise with lots of clearly marked pathways. Do try the walk up to Santa Ana - we had it more or less to ourselves!

The double bed is not very comfortable, pillows are too high for me.

The hotel is in a beautiful village right next to the mountains. Only less than 5 minutes walk to the park visitor center where you can buy the shuttle tickets and boarding the bus. We stayed in the family suite, very spacious and clean, with windows on three sides of the rooms, good view from all the windows. It also has a small balcony where you can see the stars at night. Parking is right inside the building, very safe, need to reserve in advance, Euro 10 per night. There are small supermarkets in the village where you can buy foods and veggies.

Torla is a beautiful place and very close to Valle de Ordesa. The hotel is very nice and authentic. Most of all, the hotel personal are so nice and give perfect service, especially Raul the hotel manager. Raul help us so much in planning our trip and we had so much fun talking to him.

Great very very helpful staff, great central position in this charmng town, parking (payable) and our room had a kitchen enclosed within furniture, complete wirh fridge, sink and microwave. Very cleverly done. Every hotel room/suite should have one!

I would have preferred an electric kettle to the microwave for making tea and coffee. Next to the bed was only one socket so either the phone could charge or the reading light be plugged in, but not both.

The town is quaint and this hotel is very central. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was worth the extra cost. The family room we had was comfortable and roomy, the balcony was great!

Having to leave!

My second visit to Villa Russell, and won't be my last. This area of the Pyrenees is so beautiful and Torla is a little jewel. The staff at Villa Russell are very friendly and efficient, and help to make it feel like a home from home. Great rooms with great amenities, comfortable and scrupulously clean. This is how every hotel should be run! I'll be back again!

Really can't think of anything substantial that could have been improved.

We spent a couple of days in this hotel and were blown away by the value for money. We enjoyed a small studio apartment with its private patio. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times of day. In the evenings the courtyard bar was very relaxed and informal (especially if you like 80's hits!), yet closed early enough that we were not disturbed at all. The town itself it super charming, and set in an amazing landscape.
