We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room was too hot and there was no obvious way to lower the temperature. Everything closed pretty early for a supposedly high end hotel. Checked in around 9.30pm and was told the restaurant closed at 1030pm with orders closing at 10pm. Fair enough, but this also applies to the bar. You can't have a beer after 1030pm, and only then if you order it by 10pm! I was told they have beer vending machines which is great but more suited to a motel style operation rather than a longstanding flagship hotel in Kouvola. It was a premium priced hotel chosen as there was a car park but then they charge an extra €9 to park! Breakfast stops at 9.30am which is great if you have an early start but not so good if you need to catch up on your sleep. I was given a room (which was fine).on a floor where structural repair work to the floor was in progress. You really don't expect to book the best hotel in Kouvola then have everything closed within an hour of arrival and having to access your room via a (very tidy to be fair, Finnish) building site. The TV was unplugged and the cable had to be untangled from behind the wall mount before it could be plugged in. Very low end TV offering - terrestrial only I think. Bed was billed as a large double which I guess is true, but was made up with two single duvets folded up (Finnish style maybe) meaning that you have to make your own bed, effectively. View was of a hotel service ramp..

FinlandHotel was a bit outdated and rundown. For what I paid, I would have expected a bit more. When I made the reservations I was promised a bathtub but my room did not have any.
The personnel was friendly and the breakfast was great. The location was good as well.
