Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaBig beautiful rooms, really comfortable and cozy beds, big showers and bathroom in general, rooms are very clean and the interior design is just astonishing. Breakfast is a huge buffet and there is something for everbody's liking. Hotel is near tram station and just a 17min walk from the train station and the neighbourhood is just lovely to walk through.

Very thoughtful of the little things to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Great interior in Nordic minimalist style and a community kitchen is a nice touch. Loved the Finnish spa which was included in our booking and very well maintained.

First I was attracted by design - looks very casual and warm atmosphere - and so it is! Also the sauna option was very practical for me as my travel was very long, I could rest nicely! Definitely will come again if there will be a need for it! Thanx a lot!

Nice clean spacious rooms, Comfortable beds, Location is easy to get to and close to transit. Very much enjoyed the on-site sauna for guests. Pleasant surprise to discover common kitchen and laundry area for guests staying a bit longer.

NetherlandsThis time we had the room on the old building part and the room was located on the street site personally, since I am a very light sleeper it was too noisy, I had earplugs on yet I could hear the noise from the trucks that were cleaning streets from the snow and then earlier in the morning the trams.
2nd time at this hotel we chose this because the first experience was so positive, our experience is still positive and we appreciate the pet-friendliness of this hotel of course love the restaurant Albina which is simply a wonderful place to have a dinner
