Highly recommend the room with a port view with private balcony. Breakfast was good with a good selection on offer. Owner couldn't be more helpful.

Quite steep steps up to the property if you walk into town. Parking is always a little bit tight too. Should not put anyone off though.

Great location with superb views. Friendly welcome as ever from the staff. Our second visit with many more to come.

Dirty shower, blood on duvet couldnt sleep in bed as not clean......no staff to tell as they leave at 8pm.

Quiet night once guests all came back. View was great. Location good close to walk to harbour. Had two rooms. One room was great with good shower.

Cozy little family hotel in a beautiful costal village on the hillside. Kind host, comfortable king-size bed. A little walk from the centre of Saint Jean de Luz.

Hard to change, but was just quite a steep climb up to the hotel after a long days walk from Biarritz. However didn’t detract from the overall quality of the stay.

Not easy to find the entrance and car park

In the evening if you walked back there was no light to see the name of the hotel. It is located up a steep hill and we had to use a torch to find the entrance. Not recommended for people with mobility problems. If you like the feeling of having someone at the reception who can give you information etc, then you will be disappointed. Apart from checking in there is nobody at the reception for most of the day

The car park is awful !!! Our only advice is, if you get a space, park up and go everywhere on foot!! Also, reverse in so that you can drive out !!! I was disappointed that, having paid 15€ for my breakfast, the only decaff coffee on offer was instant and not very nice.

Loved our room which had a small balcony looking out towards St Jean de Luz. Stunning view! Enjoyed breakfast altho it was very expensive. Loved being so close to both St Jean de Luz and Socoa. We managed the tricky stone stairs that provide a short cut in spite of our advanced age, a dodgy hip and lack of physical fitness !!!! Both towns are lovely and we found several restaurants that served excellent food within easy walking distance. Lots of great places to walk to if you're so inclined.

We were on the 2nd floor and there was no lift. The parking in front of the hotel was at tight and busy (but we managed)

Great location, clean and comfortable. Slight hiccup room had not been cleaned apologised and put right. Great breakfast use local produce. Would stay again.

No fridge in the room . The distance to the main beach, it took us 20 minutes walking with a steep climb to the hotel on the return . The local tax fee charged on departure.

The room was too small, uncomfortable hard plastic chairs, very small wobbly table, nowhere to put stuff, car park was very small and narrow, very difficult to drive in and reverse out, and potentially the car park has insufficient spaces for the number of rooms with nowhere nearby to park.

Not really something we didn't like but if you are getting to the hotel by foot there are steep steps to get to the property. It was worth the climb though for the view from the hotel
