Nice flat in the Vieux Port

Staff is responsive only for check in and check out purposes. Not really helpful for maintenance purposes. Unfortunately first necessities like toilet paper, laundry liquid and sponges were old or absent in the flat.

The location of the flat is unbeatable! Right in the center of action in the Vieux Port and windows are pretty well insulated so noise isn't a problem at night. The flat is decorated nicely and looks good. Bed is comfortable.

the location looks nice but unfortunately the reality is not nice . at night you have a lot of noice from people screaming around due to restaurants, bars and poverty and the morning you weak up with the cleaning staff from the city ! but it is a question of what your are looking for

property was simple but nice and clean !

Some surfaces were dusty, the washing machine looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time, the electric kette downright looks like it shouldn't be used.

Location was very convenient Adequate kitchenware

Incredible apartment in a charming area of Marseille

    Nothing.

From booking, Audrey was welcoming, friendly, communicative about how to obtain keys, and very efficient. She provided clear instructions on where to park, how to get to the apartment from the car park, and how to fetch the keys. It was so easy, which we much appreciated as getting into Marseille Vieux-Port was a hassle with a lot of traffic. However, the Vieux Port area is a superb destination for walking around old Marseille and enjoying the different cultures and people of this charming city. There are many things to do and see--museums, cathedrals, having aperos on the sea front. It's totally unlike Paris and has its own Franco-African character. Another plus is that the tourist bus and ferries to visit calanques and the small islands in the harbor area, leave from the Vieux Port area, which is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment location is on a large plaza with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. We didn't find it noisy at all. The apartment is super comfortable and immaculate! It is huge with grand windows (double-paned glass for noise), tile floors, fully equipped kitchen and wonderful bed linens and towels. The washing machine is convenient to use. Everything is extremely clean and tidy. And Audrey is a wonderful host. She replied immediately whenever I had question. To sum up, we are ready to return to Marseille and will definitely stay here again. Our only regret was not booking a longer trip. Two days is insufficient time. Three to four days would be best to really take advantage of all Marseille has to offer.
