We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Mexicoyou may feel the city of Avignon a little bit unsafe in some parts around the apt; the apt is not on located the most touristic area but very close. Also, the apt was very clean but it had a particular smell I didn’t like, maybe could be better with some deodorant or other cleaning products
The apt is good and well located in downtown Avignon, very complete with kitchen and washing machine. When you arrive yo go inside an old not so pretty building but you get a good surprise when opening the apt door

United StatesThere are directions for everything in this apartment—how to put away the dishes, how to select a movie, etc., but NO internet password. I thought I had overlooked it in their correspondence, but with no internet, I couldn’t check it until the next day at the TI which has free internet. It wasn’t included. I sent message and it was answered in a timely fashion. If you post all the other instructions, why not WiFi password? Other than that small thing, this is a 10.
Good location. Bus and train stations are a good 20 minute walk. Nearby grocery shopping. I really liked the door code versus a key!

ThailandWhen you walk into the building, you may think that you're in an abandoned building. I suppose there may be renovations planned, but I couldn't really tell. The stairs are narrow, spiral ones that are not terribly sturdy. Definitely tricky with a larger suitcase but doable. As I noticed from other comments, there are a lot of stated rules which can be annoying. I guess that's from being part of Airbnb.
I liked that the apartment (itself) was well - organized and clean. Once I got in touch, the host was quick to respond to my questions. When I asked for instructions for the heater, "just turn it on" wasn't particularly helpful but then I was told that they'd try and include the instructions in the future.

United StatesWe, as Americans, are used to the ground floor being the first floor - our mistake. The first floor in Europe is usually up one flight. Having difficulty figuring this out, Bernard sent us a link to download a complete guide for access which allowed us to discover our error. After that, access was a breeze! (However, the building hallways were bit dipidated.) We did have some trouble with the television, namely it did not work properly. The TV instructions were given for a remote that did not operate the TV. We did find a seond remote which turned the TV on and off, but there were no TV channels installed on the TV. Our assessment is that the TV may have been replaced (hence the second remote) but installation was not complete (no channels installed). The air conditioning remote did not work. We suspect it may need a battery replacement. This wasn't a problem for us since we were able to operate the A/C directly at the unit itself. Regarding the washer, it seemed that the soap pods supplied may have been outdated. During a washing, the pod did not completely dissolve, and the result was an excess of one of the components that ended up temprorarily staining a couple of shirts (we were able to remove the stains when we returned home using our own washer and detergent). We suggest that the laundry detergent be changed out with newer, more recently purchased products. We noticed the washer/dryer instructions provided options for dry-only and wash-only, in addition to complete washer/dryer cycle. We found that the dry-only really was a wash and dry cycle, and (with the exception of the inconvenient staining issue) worked well for us. We also were a bit surprised that there was only one hand towel between the two of us (most B&B apartments provide one for each guest), although we did have a bath towel for each of us.
The apartment was very nicely furnished and appointed - complete kitchen, shower, clean, comfortable. Air conditioning helped significantly with the warm weather (would like to go 1 degree cooler - 21 C). Location was good, with easy walking access to restaurants and sights (e.g., Palais des Papes, etc.). Particularly appreciated having a washer, nice shower, and kitchen. Bernard was very kind to let us have earlier access to the apartment. All in all, the unit was very comfortable.

United KingdomDoor lock system didn’t work easily and those helping us via whatsapp weren’t the most efficient. We waited 40 minutes outside the apartment before we could get in. The wifi information was incorrect so we had no internet for the entire stay. When we asked for help with it, the response came almost three hours later and by telephone when we were out for dinner so it wasn’t helpful and it was the night before checking out so too late anyway. Had high hopes but wouldn’t recommend, sorry.
