You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe summing pool area could do with some attention. The showers before going into the pool did not have a button to press for the water. The pool could do with a banister to hold onto in getting and out of the pool. The are looked neglected and could do with a good clean. A shame as the rest of the hotel was great. Restaurant menu limited.
Location is good, but unfortunately for the time of year not many cafes or restaurants were open. The hotel restaurant had a very limited menu.

FranceThe hotel has a lovely bar on the ground floor but despite having an enticing bar menu it seemed to be poorly stocked. We fancied a digestif after our late night bike ride but it seemed there was no cognac or brandy to be found although the staff was able to rustle a bottle of scotch from the store room. There were several small problems with the fittings in the room; the hand held shower head was too heavy to be used unless one held it, the toilet seat was not fitted properly and the toilet paper holder was loose; we pointed these out to the staff and I am sure they will be remedied shortly.
Located a short walk from the lake, the setting for the hotel was lovely; green and quiet. We had a room on the second floor with a lovely view of Lac du Bourget and la Dent du Chat. The room was a very comfortable size with lots of storage and a small refrigerator which actually kept things cold. The restaurant on the roof on the hotel was a perfect place to watch sunset. The staff were wonderful and friendly. We were able to store our bikes in a secure store room and there was a nice parking area. I loved that it was a small hotel. We enjoyed swimming in the lake but also enjoyed the swimming pool at the hotel. The breakfast offerings were delicious.

United KingdomThe air conditioning wasn’t brilliant & the standard rooms were quite basic. We didn’t have the breakfast as it was expensive. Parking on site was a bonus.
The hotel is situated outside of the town but really close to the lake & beach area. There are several lakeside restaurants within walking distance. The hotel bar was nicely decorated.

FranceTwin beds requested through booking.com, upon arrival the beds were made up as doubles. We asked to have twin beds as per the booking and the staff were very reluctant to meet our request, apparently the info through booking.com does not reach the hotel and we should’ve contacted them directly to ask for twin beds. Kind of defeats the object of booking online!! The beds did get changed which allowed us to sleep well. Bubbles not working in the jacuzzi.
Excellent breakfast buffet, great coffee. Restaurant in the hotel very good evening meal. Good pool. Fab location.
