Unfortunately my room wasn't the greatest. One of the only rooms without a balcony and over the main entrance. So when coaches came in to load up groups, they normally kept their engines running and it woke me up. Also, at breakfast once I went to get a second cappuchino from the machine and they had been turned off (end of breakfast service) so I was told to go to the bar. However, the bar charged me 7 euros ... very disappointing !

Although my room wasn't great, the overall hotel was outstanding. We spent so much time in the pool and spa and loved every minute. It was so relaxing which we needed. Excellent breakfast as well. Very luxurious property.

There were huge, noisy construction activities in front of the balcony, between hotel and the sea. Of course not to be avoided, but information before would have been fair. Then there would have been the choice of another room. Although sea side no view.

The €25 a night charge for our dog was extortionate ! We didnt even get given a water bowl or even a dog biscuit for that money!

Very well located 3 mins walk from the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent I left a number of items behind, including a jewellery pouch 🙈 and the team organised for it to be returned to me very quickly.

I thought being charged €5 for a flimsy cloth swim cap (for the indoor pool) was a bit petty for a €275 per night room. Since people go there for the spa facilities, you'd think they could just throw in the silly little spa cap.

We asked for a room with a walk-in shower and were given a room with disabled access. This meant that the bathroom was nice and big. The room had a balcony, which we enjoyed. The indoor heated pool is relaxing and free on-site parking was a bonus.

Quite a complicated layout which meant some lost time walking around. limited water machines in the spa and any there were, were all broken except in the toilets

It was uncomfortable having to walk in towelling robes though the main hotel lobby to access the swimming pool (when the basement access was closed).

Indoor pool whilst open during set times took a long time for staff to set up (switch thermal jets on etc) and although was open until stated time, cleaning had already started so you sat amongst washing down! Food was really pricey even for the area.

Very clean, comfortable hotel situated 30-40 min walk from Arcachon. Good parking.

The breakfast was self service and I went to get a spoon and my breakfast was cleared away! So I had to start again! No member of staff came to me in the Spa to explain where everything was so I had to go and find someone even though there were staff sitting at desks. Eventually a member of staff came and helped me. No snacks or even fruit available at the Spa. No food available at all in the afternoon at the hotel. Once lunch was finished there was no room service in a 4 star hotel. Staff not flexible at all. No help given to find somewhere to have a business call.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Spa was very good and very relaxing inside and out.

Only when we have already booked a Superior room with Spa access for one night for all of the family to enjoy spa facilities we received a message from the hotel that kids under 12 cannot use the pool except from 17:30 to 19:15 (or 18:15 on Sunday, 45 minutes!). Okay, we decided to extend our room till 18:00 for an extra payment, but it still meant we can only be in the spa for 30 minutes. We were not allowed to extend room a bit more, no one proposed a solution except for paying again a full spa access which was included in our room, ‘all managers are busy’. As a result, our little daughter crying with her five swimsuits traveled in vain, so disappointing. Staff at the spa not customer oriented at all, their unprofessionalism resulted in our money wasted. Not recommended for families with young kids.
