toilets a bit old; room a bit smelly but after opening the window ok; is a bit far outside the city.

spacious room, only 3 beds. Lockers. Big breakfast and lunch area. Very cheap hostel price. Nice park around, suitable for biking, good bus connection to the city centre.

It was very basic. We were asked to remove the sheets ourselves and we had to install them as wel. No towels nor soap in bathroom. No warm water at sink. There was fireworks and lots of noice in the rooms around. Actually its just a place with roof and beds. Should be cheaper for what you get. Dogs are not welcome.

Location. There was beautiful park around with playgrounds for children and beautiful views!

It is definitely location. I arrived there almost 9 p.m. and google maps shows me a one way and that way ‘no light, just like a scary movie scene’ and l am a alone woman who is travelling with my luggage and backpack. When l saw that road l scared a lot and l asked a help one person. After l came the hostel l mentioned about the person who is in information department he just said to me l am sorry. At least you should write about it in your website so we can be careful about our check in hours or the way we choose. Because feeling safe is the most important thing for a alone traveler woman.

I actually just like the breakfast and my bed.

Very cold floor. You cannot regulate temperature and make the room warmer and there was slight wind coming from closed window. You cannot eat anything in the room. Beds are a bit too used and loud. And yes, it is rather far from city center and you have to walk to get to the tram station, but you can see it by location.

There were rooms for Christmas. Green zone, nice park, Germany can be seen. There is tram to go to the center of Strasbourg. Breakfast was suprisingly good - with meat, sausages and cheeses, omelettes and variety of bakery.

It's fine to stay for a day or two but not for long periods of time... I stayed for 4 days and during that time the room was not swept and the sink did not appear to be cleaned. The "restaurant" is basically a cafeteria but with less choices. They charge 15€ for a dinner which is not worth nearly that much. For Christmas dinner they charged almost 20€ for the same amount of food, and what they gave was not very good... The only part that I enjoyed was the cake, which had obviously been frozen. For breakfast, the beignets were ice cold. There were less options for breakfast than at other places for the same price. They don't allow you to make a coffee in the "restaurant" after breakfast, so you have to buy one at the front desk. The property is a 15 min walk from the tram and you have to go through an area that is very dark at night with no other people around, so keep this in mind if you don't have a car. There is a bus stop that is closer than the tram but it doesn't run as frequently.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. My room was very quiet despite being on the ground floor near the lobby.

The bunkbed in our room was very unstable and since we were there with 3 adults, we chose to put the matress on the ground instead of sleeping in a not so sure bunkbed.

Very friendly staff, very helpful. My mother, sister and i booked it for 2 nights. A private room for 3, little but fine! It was very clean too!

The area around the hostel is dark at night. Felt unsafe walking there from the tram stop. Breakfast needs more than prepackaged scrambled eggs & white sausage. Bedside lights did not work. I would suggest new pillows as the ones I had were lumpy & yellow. Also, tell people before booking that eating is not allowed in the rooms.

I liked the staff. The place was warm. Coffee at breakfast was good.

For what it is, it’s too expensive. No towels, no soap, the plugs work only, if they want to. The location also isn’t great - especially the path through park.

Reaching to the hostel in Winter or under rainy weather could be difficult since it tooks at least 12 min by foot from closest tram stop (Tram D, Port Du Rhin) Max size cabin luggages does not fit in the locker. No electric plugs close to beds.

Budget hostel. Helpful employees. Breakfast is ok.

Still feel that towels should be included, they are not free and are 1,50 a piece. No elevator.

I stayed in a Auberge de Jeunesse before, so I knew what to expect. I had a room for myself, no frills, very basic. Half an hour from the centre of Strasbourg by bus. Fine for one night.
