The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that we had to leave!!

We loved everything about Aux Anges Gardiens. The room was stunning, the property is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes, and our hostess Catherine was lovely - very helpful and attentive. Reubens the Labrador is a delight 😁.

Very helpful hostess, gave us a lot of advice as to the best places to go and how. Wonderful breakfast in the garden in the morning, absolutely marvellous.

An exceptional place to stay and our host was kind and friendly. The swimming pool was a bonus! The exceptional cheese, charcuterie and wine in the evening was fantastic. Excellent for exploring the area.

The wc had limited head room being in the roof but that's it really.

Perfect location for exploring Carcassonne and wider area. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very kind and considerate. We stayed in the top room in the roof so no view as such. Breakfast was excellent. We would stay again if in the area.

The garden and pool for a dip was very welcome after a long beautiful drive through the mountains. She provided us with dinner saving my husband having to have to do.more driving. Very nice great wine and lovely on the terrace. Just what we needed on our last night of our holiday.

Nothing really, except that air conditioning might be needed in mid-summer. We travelled in mid-September, so it was not an issue.

Location a bit difficult to find but no problem using Google Maps. The room was large, clean and well furnished. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful. Pool a nice way to relax at the end of the day.

There was nothing to not like about this property.

Catherine was very welcoming and the house and garden were beautiful. There was a lovely pool and a shady terrace where a delicious breakfast was served. If you don’t want to stay in the heart of Carcassonne this place is perfect.

We were only disappointed that the weather had cooled down and we couldn't enjoy the pool!

The house was beautiful, comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. Catherine was a wonderful host who made us feel extremely welcome and had excellent tips for Carcassonne and the region.

A beautiful, characterful property with stylish rooms. We found it easily and were able to park outside. Lovely verandah where breakfast was served. Our host Catherine provided for our every need including cooking dinner for us on both nights.

Overall, we loved everything about our stay. We even ate there on our 2nd night, with the host cooking the meal which was great.

The location was excellent, a 10 minute drive into Carcasonne, it was quiet and easy to park. The host was very very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, bright, spacious, with the beautiful scent of jasmine drifting in from the garden. There was excellent tea making facilities downstairs. It was a wonderfully quiet and relaxing location

This place is a hidden little gem. Everthing was beautiful.

The breakfast was superb everything was fresh and homemade, fruit yogurt, cheeses, meat, bread, juice, tea, coffee, jams of all kinds. Breakfast was seved in the walled courtyard and was a real treat. The courtyard looked on to the pool area which was so pretty. A swim before breakfast recommended.

The hostess was very welcoming and helpful. The decor and size of the room was exceptional. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Just a pity for us we could only stay one night. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the airport, which was what we wanted.

Well off the beaten track of the bustling cité of Carcassonne, this nice "fortified house" is a gem in every aspect. Cosy garden, pool and interior. Lovely bed. Fine breakfast. The hosts are really amazing and helpful people. We loved the dog ! Fine parking lot. Location is somewhat off the Cité but for us this was only a plus.

Really enjoyed the stay in this perfect location. Great hosts, excellent home-made breakfast, super nice to also relax around the pool. Hosts care a lot to keep the location perfectly maintained. We would always come back.
