Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHotel is in the centre of Chauvigny, convenient for shops, sightseeing. Also has its own car park. Owner was very friendly and helpful with regards to a gluten free breakfast. Eating an evening meal in the hotel restaurant would have been a bonus, but sadly it wasn't open that particular evening.

United KingdomThe room was spartan and the towels were paper thin (the toilet paper was in fact thicker). The wine we were served in the restaurant was much inferior to that specified on the wine list.
Very good shower and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although no food is included in the price, the hotel restaurant served an excellent three-course meal for €15. Very close to town with good free parking.

The location was perfect, a short walk from the main street, with private parking. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy, and as described, and the breakfast was excellent.

It was a joy to return to the Beausejour. The owners are delightful and have done so much to improve their property in these last challenging years. We visited on our return journey at the height of the heatwave & we were welcomed into the air-conditioned bar area with kindness & sincerity. Our shuttered room was cool and overlooked the pretty garden. Our evening meal was delicious and excellent value; as was our breakfast which my husband says includes a pot of the most delicious coffee. Plenty of parking is much appreciated after a long journey. We highly recommend this charming Logis and hope to return soon.

We arrived on bicycles and within minutes we were met by the welcoming owner. Our bicycles were safely stored in a locked garage. Our accommodation was perfect for tired wet cyclists with everything we needed. The owner gave us valuable information about restaurants and as a result we had a delicious pizza in the town, which would have been diffucult to find otherwise. The breakfast was of continental fare and more than adequate with excellent coffee. We had supper in the hotel restaurant, which was very tasty and good value for money. We enjoyed our stay and found the owner to be a friendly and helpful host.

United KingdomRoom was recently decorated but still very dated with a small double bed (could not be bigger in the space). The facility information said there was a restaurant, there is, but it was closed. The room was not good value for money.
Friendly and helpful owner / Manager. Nice looking old building. The parking was excellent. The garden would be nice in warmer weather. The room was warm. 5 minute walk into town.
