I loved all the information about Marcel Aymé, but my French isn’t good enough to translate it. The lobby is filled with info about him.

Very friendly staff and manager. Very clean, nice hot shower every day, but very small toilet room. It’s Montmartre so I understand it being an old building, but big people would struggle. Our bed was made every day and we were given a fresh shower mat. Also, our coffee cups were washed every day.

I can't say there was anything I didn't like.

Our room was much larger than I was expecting (since we've had some tiny ones in Europe). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not have breakfast as we had an early flight, but we would definitely stay here again. The hotel is close to Montmartre's vibe, and we especially love the little pub across the street. We had a friend we were meeting at the hotel and he was treated very well by the staff while he waited for us in the lobby.

Everything ! Loved this property. So clean and cosy, had everything you needed and was in a gorgeous location. Only 5 min walk to underground, to get to attractions it was super easy and only a 5-10 min walk to Sacre-Ceour. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they were amazing and so friendly. We would love to come back to Paris and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend !

The location is one of the best in Paris, next to some the most iconic sites, but on a quieter street Reception and staff in general are super friendly and helpful. In our case very helpful in changing our room to better suit our needs.

The rooms are very small and are definitely not soundproof. We had very noisy neighbours and could hear them throughout our whole stay - we chose not to speak to reception but if we did, I know staff would’ve been more than happy to help. The hotel sits at the top of a very steep road in Montmartre, so may not be easily accessible to everyone.

The staff were extremely friendly and the room, despite being small in size, was always clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus extras like complimentary lemon water, cakes and toiletries. The hotel is in a quiet location, very close to local tube stations and staff were always helpful with directions or booking taxis.

Interesting and stylish "literary" boutique hotel in Montmartre celebrating the life and work of French author Marcel Ayme. Beautifully designed and clean and comfortable rooms in an excellent location one block above the Rue des Abbesses, often hailed as one of the "best" streets in Paris and a short walk to Sacre Couer and its celebrated view of the City. Excellent value and perfect location to explore Montmartre.

It is a nice idea to have a big shower gel bottle in the shower to reduce plastic use, but would recommend to add one for hair conditioner, as for customers with long hair that would come in handy.

Comfortable and spacious double room in the heart of Monmarte. The hotel is close to two metro stations (line 2 & 12) which give you quick access to the centre of Paris. We walked most of the days and it’s around 45-50’ cool walk to the centre. Staff are very polite and helpful. The area has plenty of local bars and restaurants to stroll around and end your day. Everything was great, 100% recommend 😊

The beds are too soft for me. i only like very hard beds.

This location is really magic. I am a former parisian and from this part of Paris, It is one of the best places to get a real life Paris feeling. many bars and restaurants where you can get a glass of wine or food, not to mention "boulangeries'. Even though there are many tourists, this is a place where real Parisians live, meet and shop for food.
