Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandWe were disappointed to learn that the end cleaning is not included, and it would cost 90 eur, which we found excessive. We ended up cleaning it by ourselves. We were not in high-season and yet the camping was beginning to fill-up slowly, so I imagine that in summer most activities might be crowded.
Very nice camping site in a great location and with lots of activities. We loved being immersed in nature and surrounded by so many trees. The pools are nice, one of them is heated, and there's a children pool as well. The children playground is well-equipped. The supermarket has the basics, including baguettes and pastries every morning for breakfast. The family-owned restaurant on-site is run by very welcoming staff and offers very good pizza, but also good fish and meat options. The beach is a couple of minutes away. You can also walk to Calvi town, or alternatively hop in the train which passes by every now and then, and which runs in the opposite direction towards Ile Rousse.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was quite poor so we didn’t go for it. Yet it’s way more practical and convenient to cook in the room, and easy to find anything either at the camping site shop or the nearby supermarket
The playground for kids, the swimming pool also has a dedicated space for toddlers/babies. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

SwitzerlandThe pool was not heated and the playground was under constructions. So we could not use the two main reasons why we came with our little children...

SwitzerlandOur AC (in early August) was really not great (old but just intermittently emitting cold air). Our sliding doors actually didn’t close as our cabin was on a slope. The mini market was inflated a bit too much which we felt was a bit cheeky as the stay itself is not cheap.
Such beautiful grounds and 3 minutes walk to a breathtaking (very very long white sandy beach). We arrived by train (do not recommend with luggage- it’s 2 carriages and extremely busy in summer, every 2 hours). The campsite is quite big but you never feel it. Everything is based around a central square section (pools, restaurant, mini supermarket, reception, kids club, enormous kids play park). The drivers there are limited to walking speed so it’s very safe on-site. Each area is in little lots so no over crowding. Basic little cabins but everything you need. Spacious for a family of 5. We just loved being in the nature of it (beautiful trees everywhere) yet 10 mins by car from airport (you don’t hear the planes) and 10 mins walk to a huge super market. It’s a good 30 minutes walk along a nice (stroller adapted) path to Calvi city making it very very safe with little ones. Mini market on site has everything you need (slightly pricey). The staff here are excellent, really do everything to help and inform. Free kids and teenage club. Free mini golf, free donkey rides, free laser quest, and free tennis.

We had a great stay. Walking distance to the (beautiful) beach, a great resort with swimming pool, mini golf, table tennis, play garden for the kids and a proper pizza restaurant. The staff was super friendly and we even got a free upgrade (we stayed after high season).

Lovely, in the pines and close to the beach, with a walkway or even train to the centre of Calvi. Great pizza!

NetherlandsBecause all hotels in Calvi were full, I decided to book a tiny house on this camping, at a whopping 311 euros. Extremely off putting is the list of rules, in particular when taking the price into account. Upon leaving, guests are supposed to clean the place by themselves, remove the sheets from the beds, empty the waste basket, and open the windows. Imagine you were asked to do this in a hotel! Last but not least, you have to pay your own soap and wifi.
The closeness to the sea was the best feature. The calmness at night is also fine.
