How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The parking directions could be better. The bar area was not always with personnel from the hotel, so one had to wait for a drink. They could use more help at the reception, since only one person was there.
Hotel was nice with a good location. Parking is available, but was a touch complicated, since the undergroung parking is used by many in the area, including apartments. Breakfast very nice.

Property is dated and the room we were given could have used some maintenance (i.e. couple broken tiles in the bathroom). Room service food only included food that was pre-made and stored in jars.

Close to RER station, restaurants and huge park, clean, friendly staff, unrequested room upgrade, large modern room with big bathroom.

location was not so good and 15min walk to subway station. other things were good
The suite were big enough and well designed of course not with decorations in photo! comfortable and quiet.two bathroom and one toilet. breakfast was great and worth. helpful reception. the suite price was reasonable .

Décor and lighting on the bedroom landings was a bit dark Otherwise nothing of note
Hotel was comfortable, convenient to the local RER station and a short taxi ride from Orly Airport Staff were extremely friendly and helpful Breakfast offered a nice selection of food and the breakfast area was cozy Bedroom was comfortable - I enjoyed a good night's sleep

Toilet was a little smelly.
Good location for Orly Airport. Transport links to central Paris nearby and Palace of Versailles not dar by taxi. Very comfy bed, restaurant options nearby, quiet location. Excellent staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby Sceaux Park well worth a visit

All very good!
Very welcoming, nice rooms, nice personnel and notwithstanding the distance from the centre, the hotel is very well connected thanks to the RER B (in just 15-20 minutes you are in centre of Paris).

In one of the room the shower was a little clog. They tray to fix with us there but we left and it will still get clog after a shower.
They clean our rooms everyday. The bed were conformable, They were able to arrange 1 room for 3 with a comfortable individual bed.

This was our third stay at the Hotel de Berny. The staff went out of their way to be friendly. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

The parking is very narrow.
Staff is amazingly nice. Room are spacious and nice. They placed some toys and books for my daughter, so thoughtful!

A lot of thinks starting from moises colony in. Front pf the hotel and moquette and smell in the lobby and in the rooms (smoke)
Smell in lobby and room. Old furniture gives impression of poor tidiness. No lobby where u can work together. No resturant, no space outdoor (belongs to restaurant next with same name). Moises (big ones) in small green area in front of the hotel and next to the restaurant. They say it’s the garbage qnd they cannot do anything about it :-0. 179 euros per night per single room plus 14 breakfast plus 10 garage is simply absurd for such an accomodation. Got dozen fo emails from the structure before my arrival on my biz emaial Address for marketing the same services i haven t asked for.

This hotel advertised room service but didn’t have it unless you want a pot of microwave gloop from reception. It is very noisy outside late at night. You can order extra services before arriving like flowers or to borrow plug adapters - none of this was available either.
Hotel is near the train station and room was a good size. Bed was comfy
