The blankets were really old. There were no cover for the blankets. I wish they had the cover for blankets. I think there is a scope for improving the cleanliness of toilet.

It's value for money. The location was very good for transportation. Staffs were really nice and welcoming.

can get loud at night due to thin walls and doors and staff did not go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Staff also told me wifi didn't work for iPhones and that I would need to get a new SIM card to be able to connect.

Close to metro stations, a lot of shops around, polite staff.We enjoyed our morning coffee at the cafe downstairs. For the price that we paid, it was enough for us, but we had a room with a bathroom.

Im not a fan of the two large square bed pillows. Approx 30cm x 30cm. Perhaps the room could have been aired. I could smell cigarette smoke. I would have like to have morning coffee but wasn't given any information on this. I presume I just turn up and ask at reception?

I arrived at 11pm. My room was for one night. I needed to be close to the Guard du Nord area. The room was a good size and the central heating was on. I had a double bed and sink in my room. Clean sheets and two clean white bath towels. The person behind the desk spoke English, my French is very bad. I stayed on a Tuesday night. The following day I stumbled across a fruit and vegetable market under the bridge at Bd de la Chapell. M. La Chapell. Picture enclosed.

Our paper cups were not replaced, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the towel rack was broken.

The location was great, especially for this price. The staff was also very nice. The water temperature was also consistent. Props to the staff for always staying up and being present to take care of our keys!

There is a restaurant on the ground floor in the hotel and the personnel was nice but did not try to keep quiet. till 22-23 and from 6 am there was a lot of noise in the restaurant, or in the corridor, impossible to have quiet time in the room during the day or sleep a little longer.

The localization is great - 2 min walk to the green line, close to a carrefour and other shops, staff was nice, the room had all that was needed, there was no noise from the street in my room (first floor, windows facing the backyard).

No lift in the building was a bit inconvenient (especially when you're on the 5th floor), with a narrow spiral staircase the only option. Having to leave the key there when we went out was unusual.

We stayed there twice, at the beginning and end of our trip, and the room we stayed in the first time had some black mold around the window, which didn't close very well. However, the second room had a better, double glazed window so it was much cleaner and quiet.

It smelled a bit bad in the bathroom, everything is quite old and not super clean (but acceptable for a few days).

The location is good - only 1min to the Metro station. The people who work there are friendly and there is always somebody on the reception.

There is no lift, don't come with heavy luggage

A clean and comfortable room, bed was comfortable and there is a sink in the room. This hotel has shared bathroom facilities. The shower room was good and clean, there are toilets on every floor. Excellent location, metro station nearby. Many shops and restaurants, a lively area. Montmartre at a walking distance and also 15 -20 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Overall good value for money

No life in the hotel plus really tiny circular stairs. I was put at 4th floor. To get a 30kg suitcase up and down is a nightmare.

The only bad thing I can remember is that in our room, the bathroom door was broken, so it wouldn't close, but we "fixed it" using a chair to hold the door. They also only give a towel per person that has to be used as a hand towel, a hair towel and a body towel, it would be nice if they gave more towels, but for the price we payed we can't complain much and we only stayed 2 nights, so it wasn't a big deal.

I think this is a very good option if you're travelling on a budget and it was a positive surprise that exceed our expectations! Everyone is super nice and although some of the employes didn't speak english, they made an effort to communicate with us. The room was confortable and cozy, with everything we needed and the bathroom as well. The location is good, you have supermarkets, restaurants, bakerys and metro station and several buses nearby and you're only half an hour away from the center of Paris! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
