We stayed for 4 nights. We could go walking to the river Seine, Notre Dame and other places of interest, like the stations Gare d’Lest and Gare du Nord. The hotel is fully renewed and stylish. Small and fun elevator. Our room was n.40, it was very clean! Plus it had a small balcony. Very comfy bed. We felt like sleeping on clouds! Couldn’t hear any noise from outside the room. We had soft and perfumed towels, spotless and modern bathroom, with everything we may need (shampoo, shower gel, body cream, blow dryer). It felt so much like home! :) Also, everyone at the reception was helpful and nice. The breakfast has yummy ham, cheeses, bread, yoghurt, hot beverages machine, milk, juice, pain au chocolat and more. Really nothing to complain about. Don’t miss it! ;)

Too expensive for the quality or the size of room, but again it is in the center of Paris. The hotel offers a convenient breakfast but a kettle for boiling water would be a necessary addition for people who want to have a coffee or a tee in the room.

The location of the hotel is excellent! Right across the street from the metro station and in a walking distance from Chatelet, Notre Dame, etc. It is also full of art. The color on the walls, the posters in and outside the room, the classical music in the corridor, the piano room. If you appreciate art you will find the decoration really interesting. The staff is very friendly, fluent English speaking, willing to fulfil every request and provide help. The bed, the furniture and the mattress didn't seem anything special when I entered the room, but I had a good and comfortable night sleep. Even though I had a single use of the room, the towels were not skimped on. The neighborhood is very safe and full of people even late at night. Cleanness was also appreciated.

The only thing I’d say was that the first day of our stay was a particularly hot day so when we needed the air conditioning we found it a bit difficult to work out and the dial wouldn’t go lower than 16 degrees which meant we had to open the window and as it was a Saturday it was very noisy outside. So I guess in summer this would be more of an issue but as it was only hot one day of our trip it wasn’t too much of an issue.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Hotel de Roubaix and would stay here again! It was right in the heart of the Marais so was an excellent location for most tourist attractions within a walking distance. The whole apartment was really clean and the bathroom was exceptional. Bed were comfortable and room had a balcony which was another perk! Breakfast was really good lots to chose from in terms of cold meats, types of bread, cereal and Coffee machine / tea and pastries as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful as we were allowed to place our bags in the storeroom (which was locked and safe) so that we were able to check in later on in the day with their 24 hour reception.

Even though it was only April the weather was quite warm which made it a little hot for sleeping. There is an air conditioning panel just inside the door but I couldn't figure out how it worked (I should have asked the staff, my fault that I didn't).

We loved the location as the Metro was only 2 minutes away, and the staff were excellent - extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good value. The decor is quirky and welcoming. The room was a good size for a Parisian hotel, very clean and comfortable. We had a double and a single bed in the room and it was still very accessible. The bathroom was small but the shower was easy to use and had plenty of hot water. There was a good amount of starage space in the room. We liked that there was a tiny balcony, no outdoor furniture though. There is a small lift, very appreciated considering that we were on the fifth floor. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance and for both of the two nights that we were there we had great dinners.

Christof and his fabulous team have created a little gem in the centre of Paris. Small, compact and bijou! Original art adorns every wall, with a beautiful lounge where you can relax after a busy day out and about. There is a piano for guests to play. A delicious freshly prepared breakfast is available every morning and has an ice machine for the guests. A bar service is available on request. Every member of the team were polite, friendly and always helpful.

Location was good for our purposes and within walking distance of train stations (Nord and Est) and metro. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a safe in the wardrobe; a heated towel rail; a hair dryer and TV. There was also good storage. Bathroom was modern and well lit albeit typically small. Miniature bottles of shampoo, shower gel and lotion as well as a soap dispensor in the shower. Quirky (in a good way) decor in the communal areas. There was a lift to all floors. Breakfast was continental buffet style. Good selection of fruit juices; plenty of breads and pastries (incluidng gluten free products); good selection of hams, cheeses, salami and boiled eggs; muesli and cornflakes; good selection of yoghurts; coffee/hot chocolate machine and tea bags; juicy oranges and kiwi fruits and overall plentiful quantity of food laid out.
