Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The location, friendliness of the staff, warm atmosphere, simplicity and practicality. 3 minutes walk for the office of tourism and the main free lift that takes to the intersection of EFS slopes.

United KingdomOnly two things, but I hope helpful feedback. 1) there were never any bowls available when we went for breakfast. It was as though the early ski school rush took them all and they couldn’t clear and clean them in time. Buy more? It was annoying having to wait. 2) The ski hire is very convenient, but if you’re looking for quality skis and the right ones for your ability, go elsewhere. The guy didn’t ask us a single question about our skiing level, and gave me skis that were far too small for me, were on the wrong din setting and definitely not serviced. I ended up handing them back and going to Intersport which was great. It was concerning that there was so little care taken to give us the right skis. Not something you want to get wrong.
The hotel overall was excellent. The room is cosy, with a great view of the valley. The bathroom is lovely, and there’s lots of storage even though the room is small. The breakfast was great, lots of options and a lovely view whilst eating it too. The bar was a good place to relax (if you don’t mind a few kids). The location is amazing, so easy to virtually ski in and out of and five mins to good restaurants etc.

United KingdomFrom a personal perspective, there was no fridge in the room. There was no kettle, and I love to have a tea or coffee first thing, but it didn’t affect my stay.
The property was well thought out and had all facilities that you would need for a week skiing with the family beautiful view of the mountains and clean towels when requested daily housekeeping and really friendly staff. The beds were really comfortable and it was always warm in the hotel having the fire on was also a lovely touch after a day of skiing.

FranceWhen we arrived, we found that the entrance bell of the hotel was broken and its entrance door was locked. This was quite unusual for a hotel. The phone number given by "booking.com" did not work either. We did not understand and did not expect that a phone number written at the entrance started with a Swedish country code. We dialed it together with the French country prefix, and could not reach anybody. Luckily we finally managed to get into the hotel by walking around the building and knocking at the bar window, where the kind bar tender helped us and opened a back door (in a second attempt). We had originally arrived at 21h05, but lost some 15 minutes of time before entering the building, due to the problems mentioned above. There was no dinner available anymore. Much to our surprise, also in the vicinity of the hotel we could not find any place to still get something to eat, not even in places - taverns and bars - that claimed to be open till 2 am. A huge pile of sandwiches at the hotel reception was reserved for other guests. Our room was close to the stairs and was not particularly quiet. We heard some noise from other guests moving back and forth in their rooms, or up and down the stairs, during much of the night. The bar had no draft beer, but this was supposed to be re-delivered a few days later.
Bar tender Campbell was extremely friendly and opened the back door of the hotel so that we could finally check in. Also the female Swedish receptionist was extremely friendly and cheerful. As a compensation for some bad luck, we were not charged for a bottle of beer, by the (possibly) French receptionist.

United KingdomIt was very expensive, the prices went up like crazy, but I guess there is nothing we can do about that these days. One of the duvets was very dirty, but we didn't complain about it at the reception.
The rooms are spacious, with a nice view. They all have a balcony, which is nice, especially the view is towards the mountains. They have ski and boots storage , very practical. Location is good. Breakfast was delicious with various options. For New Year they had champagne for everyone and we could all see the fireworks from the terrace, which was really nice on their part. Parking is also available, that is a big plus.

NetherlandsWe had a great holiday in this hotel. Breakfast is simple but enough and good quality. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help or support. We liked the bar and the view is fantastic. The rooms (at least some of our 4 rooms) are not that large but very clean and cozy. Good beds and very nice and warm interior. cleaned very day. The price / quality is in our view very good. We really had the feeling that they where happy with us being their guests. We had a very good holiday and I would recommend this hotel for sure. We will for sure come back!
