How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There should be a variety on the breakfast at least every other day.
Room was quiet and very confortable. Also, it was cleaned almost every day. Close to transportation access, and near a fantastic plaza.

The food isn't great...they need to serve proper professional meals especially as the average price per plate was €22! But the staff were nice and made up for it when we complained. The rooms smelt bad and laces with scent to make it smell better when underneath you could still tell it smelt old. They need a deep steam clean of the carpets but the bed linen was nice and fresh. The location is not great..in a run down industrial estate which was full of road works.
The price and that it had a pool and piano and some games for the kids in the foyer.

The stairs to the pool and the area all around the pool are extremely slippery. Im surprised no one hasn't been seriously injured. The hotel should install safer flooring. My daughter slipped down the stairs after the pool even though she was being extremely careful. Shower needed more pressure

Multiple rooms on our floor had people smoking inside. It could be smelled inside the room and throughout the hallway. When I mentioned it to the staff I was offered just an air freshener.
The pool was the main attraction for the kids. It was warm but the water was a bit cloudy. One of the underwater lights was unattached and floating in the water. The stairs are extremely slippery when wet.

The rooms were rather tired looking, carpets dirty/stained, wallpaper peeling off the walls. The rooms really need to be upgraded. Meals were OK, but menu was rather limited.
The staff were great especially Willy in the bar. The public areas were good. Breakfast was good.

There was no reception. I couldn't find someone to help me during check-in.
beds were comfortable and the room was really big and clean. They cleaned the room regularly without any extra request. The bathroom was quite big with good equipments.

We did not use the pool, sadly, because it was too crowded.. kids playing etc.. would not recommend for a couple stay.. also we pre-ordered dinner with desert.. and after the main course we had to wait like 1,5 hours for the desert, even tho we reminded them 3 times.. But they gave us coffee and drink on the house.. it was at least a nice gesture, even if it would be nice to not be at the restaurant for so long..
It was fresh and dog friendly. Walking distance from train station.

Easy to park a car with a roof box for the day if you want to access Paris on metro. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good directions and options to get into and back from Paris. Room was quite spacious too. Good shopping nearby too.

Someone told me that you allow visitors with dogs. I hope you do not allocate a room that has been given to someone with dogs. I do not believe human should share a room with dogs
The size of the room and beds are perfect for the family. Breakfast was superb with loads of choices to choose from. My daughters love the swimming pool and the temperature of the water was just right. Your customer service at the reception were very helpful and polite. Big thanks to them all. My family and I can't wait for our next visit. Good luck

Restaurant was expensive so we went to eat out.
We were given 2 communicating rooms. It was really handy, the kids sleept in one room and us in the other one. Private car park was nice. Air conditioning and pool were great to cool down on very hot days. Also there was a breakfast added to our bill, when I informed the staff of the mistake it was promptly corrected. Cleaning staff was also very helpful, I mentioned that a bottle opener was missing from the room they gave me one straight away.
