The bed is a bit too low, can't sit up as I will knock my head at the bottom of the bed on top. Also no 🛗, so I have to carry my heavy stuff upstairs.

I like the staffs, they are very friendly and helpful.

A lot of stairs and the bathroom sinks are in with the showers not the toilets. Also the alarm went off multiple times during the night and woke me at 4:25 due to another guest

Shortage of toilet and washing facilities. Triple deck bunk beds, making the bottom one awkward to access. Twelve beds squashed into a medium sized room. No towel provided (unless you paid a €5 fee). Expensive for what it was.

Friendly staff who handled the situation of a fire alarm being set off twice (by another guest) calmly and professionally. Reasonable breakfast with bacon, eggs, coffee, orange juice, croissants etc. Clean, crisp and modern feel to the building. Very central location, virtually across the street from the rail station.

The reponsible the Hostel, Martin, was able to solve a critical issue regarding the reservation, far away from her duty, it was very pleasant and give us a solution that fits perfectly to our needs. Human being, mixed with professionality in the best way.

School group staying was noisy with chatting and knocking doors both late at night and early in morning. Didn't like there was no sink in toilets, only in shower room- nowhere to wash hands if the showers were in use. The lockers had very thick fasteners that meant I couldn't use my lock to keep my bag safe (I was only there for one night so not a big issue but for a longer stay it would have been)

Close to train station. Curtains on bunk. Staff pleasant - but struggled to run bar and check-in solo when I arrived at night. Space to sit with books and games downstairs with bar.

There wasn't too much of a social atmosphere in the communal areas when I was there.

Nice clean hostel in a great location in Bayonne. All staff were nice and helpful. They do offer a 'family-style' dinner which is a nice way to meet other travellers.

Had to wait 40 minutes for my breakfast as there was no staff. When staff arrived he didn’t serve waiting customers he went looking for staff instead. Beds are compartmentalised with curtains but are 3 levels high and so the inside is quite small! Some of the tall men in my room had difficulty getting in and out of the bunks not on the floor. Bathrooms are limited and shared by many but also not very clean or well maintained. Your best to get dressed in your room as the bathroom was often steamy and wet from a lot of use.

It was in a good location, easy walk from the station with plenty of food and things to do near by! Beds have curtains.

We paid £20 cash deposits for the keys and towels. When we left, the money was refunded to my bank card, which of course then incurred a currency conversion fee so we only received £16+. May they could put money in an envelope or similar and just return it when guests leave?

Just the job for an overnight stay following the Tour de France.

Privacy curtain missing and coffin size bed very claustrophobic as you cannot even sit up due to the low height slightly overpriced for a small bunkbed only

There is no AC and it was a bit hot during my stay, and there is no cellphone service in the premise, so you have to stay connected to the wifi but cannot make regular phone calls, you have to go outside to catch signal

The bed was very comfy, yet try and ask for middle or lower beds (i struggled to get on top) and the hostel was full so i could not change beds, The bathrooms and showers are very clean and are cleaned daily. The location is very central (5minutes to Grand Bayonne) and if you are coming by train it's literally 2 mins away which makes it easier to take the train upon departure. The staff overall were very welcoming and helpful.
