Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyThe lift is too small can accomodate only 2-3 persons max. If you are with luggage then one person can go up. And the lift goes till 5th floor and not till 6th floor. So if you room is on 6th floor, you have to go one floor up via stairs with your luggage. Plus there is no accessories like electric kettle, etc. so that you can have tea or coffee in the room. There is no breakfast option in the Hotel but you will get lot of options nearby the hotel so it is manageable.
The location of the Hotel and accessibility to the entire city of Paris. The hotel employees were very friendly and cooperative. The room was very cozy and clean. Enjoyed every bit of our stay in the hotel. Outside the hotel you can get access to all types of cuisine and even fast food stores are at the stone throw distance. You will get supermarkets like ALDI very close to get all your daily needs at very very cheap rates. By the way I am an employee of ALDI Germany, so it can trusted 100% :) Quite safe neighborhood and can take night walk after dinner. Gare du Nord main Train Station is just 2 minutes walking (around 200 metres away).

IraqThe neighborhood is busy due to being between two train stations with a lot of noises and the area outside the hotel is not so clean. The room didn't come with lots of toiletries just a shampoo and a soap with one set of towel, no hair dryer or iron and no Iron in the facility.
It was clean and near the train and the Metro station, very easy to travel. The staff was pretty friendly as well.

CanadaThe toilet seat was broken and uncomfortable, made of cheap plastic. Fresh paint smell, but street below too noisy to keep window open. Needs hair dryer, and a fridge would be nice.
Room was clean, bathroom was a bit bigger, room was smaller but fine. Bed was comfortable, sheets white and clean. Security box provided. Staff member brought up my suitcase for me because the elevator didn’t go to the top floor, so I had to walk up one floor.

United StatesThe room I stayed in did not have a view. As I mentioned, the street it is on can appear to have some questionable characters sitting outside.
Extremely close to the Paris du Nord train station. Even with all my luggage I could walk. It may seem a little seed on the street where the entrance is, but I felt safe. In addition there is a bakery on the corner which is phenomenal.

United KingdomPhotos look way better than reality, room was very small only fit 3 bed and one room to move around. Location is unpleasant, my girls felt very uncomfortable walking around. Hotel is newly renovated meaning newly painted, there was a bad smell of the fresh painted furniture. Hotel doesn’t accept Mastercard or Amex only Visa.
