Aircon not working in hotel as heating was on.. not sure how that works but as I was ground floor i couldn’t open my patio door at night safely…. Or could but chose now to.

Very nice hotel with great clean beach look and feel. I suggest you book a room with sea view not on ground floor so you can have your window open at night. Aircon was not working on my visit. They provided me with a fan. Not a great fix but nonetheless a really lovely hotel

We were surprised to be charged to use the sun beds on the beach. The beach at Cocobaia was described as “private” so we had assumed that use of that beach would be included in the room price. I think if this is not included the advertising is slightly disingenuous since non-hotel guests can also pay to use the beach area (so it’s not private at all!)

We really did not like the standard double room which had a bath in the middle of it, with only a clear glass screen separating it from the bedroom meaning there was no privacy when bathing or showering and also we found the in-bath shower to be dangerous for an older person to use. We immediately asked to be moved and the hotel obliged, although we were asked to pay a (reduced) supplement for the new room which was on the first floor and although it was smaller it had an excellent seafront balcony. Both rooms were sadly lacking any hooks; there was only one, in the shower. The charge of Euros 22 per person for breakfast seemed a little excessive considering that other than a salad of two types of melon, grapes and occasionally pineapple there was no fresh fruit on the buffet.

I found the staff exceptional. They were very welcoming. I had booked a second night after making my first booking, and the manager made sure we could stay in the same room. The beach is beautiful, and the food at the beach bar was outstanding. It was the highlight of our trip to the French mediterranean and I've been recommending to people back here in Canada. Jason

Rooms are fairly small. A bit cramped.

Location and view, nice decoration and style. Excellent cuisine, they have a great chef with no doubt.

This is definitely a place for those who do not need to save money. It's a high price for a room that isn't too large. The breakfast was expensive too. But if you want quality, I guess you have to pay up.

We had a very pleasant stay. The sea view from the balcony was great, the beach was near, the pool was nice. The staff were helpful. The air condition made it easier to cope with the hot days. The dinner at the restaurant was memorable.

The room once we had a child bed in was on the small size. This was the only down side for us.

The warm welcome, the front of house staff are second to none, lovely, engaging and interested. Our favourite was Stella 💜 The pool is the perfect size and temperature. The place felt very safe and well looked after.

The staff were hard to communicate with since they didn’t speak a lot of English. I had trouble ordering room service everyday. The food was very average yet super expensive. They need a lot of improvement if they consider themselves as a five star hotel

The staff was exceptionally rude, and the service shocking. After checkout they accused us of taking runners from the beds and charged a shocking amount to our credit card. This after I sent them a nice mail to explain that we did not notice runners on the beds and if they could perhaps double check with housekeeping if it was not misplaced. No feedback! Just saw the transaction on our account two days later.

The rooms were beautifully renovated, but that is where it stopped..
