How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Unfortunately the impressive and new - looking overhead shower made a dreadful noise so we didn't like to use it for fear of upsetting fellow guests. Apart from that all was really good and would thoroughly recommend.
Warm welcome, safe & easy parking, great decor and ambience, excellent breakfast (fresh juice and savoury bread in particular!), quiet, liked the fact that we could open the windows in the room rather than have to use aircon, friendly and helpful staff, water for rooms in reception - great idea.

Called ahead of time with questions about directions. Male who answered phone spoke limited English and refused to help. Took an extra hour to get to hotel. USB ports in rooms would’ve been nice.
Friendly desk staff, clean rooms and nice lobby area. Got a great recommendation for a restaurant.

Great location. Very friendly and professional service at reception, hassle free check-in Hotel was fresh and clean with modern decor. Bathroom was large and well equipped. Fresh clean crisp white bed linen. Breakfast was good, nice touch with freshly squeezed orange juice and good variety of loose tea. There is limited parking with the hotel so, need to book in advance but another large car park is only 5 min walk.

breakfast was good but not exceptional, but maybe only because we went at the same time of a large group
great location, close to the train station and a parking and to the city centre. Also right under the Tour Perret so you cannot get lost on the way back to the hotel

Always difficult, but breakfast items could have been replenished more promptly.
Location superb., Breakfast ok and certainly adequate to start the day with. Complimentary hot drinks available in the bar area during the daytime. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room had no desk, and there was no easy way to use a laptop.
Functional hotel, good in its category. Good breakfast. Near the train station, and not far from the cathedral. Visiting the cathedral was our reason or staying in Amiens.

Parking was somewhat difficult as there is a one way system around the hotel which means that the car park isn’t obvious or quick to reach.
We liked the central location close to the heart of the city. We liked the comfort and style of the hotel, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the fact that there was a pleasant restaurant on site.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel with our young son. While the overall experience was very pleasant, we did encounter some challenges with the staff's friendliness, which is particularly important when traveling with children. It would have been even more enjoyable if we felt a warmer welcome from all the personnel
