only the entrance to the hotel which it shared with a closed restaurant next door was dirty and uninviting.

I usually like staying at Ibis Hotels for they are quite standard, simple and clean. Not this one. We had three rooms (booked through Booking and Accor website): two adjoining and one nearby. In one of them, the drain of the sink was clogged or broken in the closed position. The plumber came and was supposed to have solved the issue, but when we came back at the end of the day the whole room was flooded! In the other room, when the toilet was flushed, sewage water returned from the drain in the bathtub. After many many complaints (and a lot of allegations that they were full and couldn't do anything), they moved us to two other rooms. Now we were staying at three different floors. One of the new rooms was significantly smaller and the air conditioner didn't work, initially. A fuse was found disarmed. After arming it, the air con did work but would make a loud noise every 15 min or so. In the other room, the hairdryer didn't work. During breakfast, there was a machine for boiling eggs but either it was not working or there were no eggs. Ironically, the lamp fixture in our room was made of egg cartons. There were ants and flies on the food. When we were checking our we saw that they cleaned the first rooms we stayed at and put guests there. We also felt the awful sewage smell coming from them again - meaning: nothing was done to address the real problem and the hotel keeps subjecting guests to this horrible experience.

Really friendly hotel in a convenient location. We were travelling on our bikes and the staff were very accommodating about storing them. Breakfast was nice

- I was initially given a room with electrical damage, and the staff knew about it. The electricity short circuted three times on the first day, and I had to call the reception for getting my electricity back up. I was given another room the next day, but that room should not have been used! - My luggage was trafugated and, thankfully, only a minor 10€ worth of items were stolen.

-Breakfast was ok, I especially liked the freshly squeezed orange juice.

I booked 5 double rooms and got confirmation of that. However, my colleague was put into a small single room and still had to pay the same double room rate as thd rest of us.

Hotel was so close the train station and you can go anywhere you like by train. Also hotel workers are so friendly and helpful. Perfect place for the tourist.

Had a room towards the front. It was very noisy, especially very early in the morning.

The property was clean and friendly. Breakfast was nice! Especially the freshly squeezed orange juice is a nice touch. Many nice cafés and restaurants nearby in Rue Faubourg St Denis.

In Summer time we need to have refrigerator. If there are more salad in break fast it might be much better.

Location is good to be near station.

A little noisy on the outside at times due to proximity to the station and several bars/restaurants, but it was of no concern to me. By time I got back in and went to bed, I couldn’t have told you anything else was going on because I was out cold.

It had great proximity to the train station (Gare de l’Est) and worked perfectly for a place to lay down and rest while in Paris. It also conveniently close to a few metro lines to get around a bit easier and quickly as compared to cabs or walking.
