The 80+ steps when carrying luggage. We did feel fitter having done the climb over 5 days. Opening the sofabed takes a bit of effort.

Located on edge of old town, so no shortage of places to eat at and shops to browse in. Appartment was very quiet, but had everything a visitor may need. Shower good and warm. Appreciated the expresso machine plus coffee and tea provided. Heating worked well when needed.

Kitchen set up and accessories could be improved. Had issues with ventilation but hosts came to look at it promptly.

Location was perfect, old charm and building were very cool, spacious and bright apartment.

We sent 3 messages via the booking app and never got a response. Owners use the app communication to send us messages but never reply themselves. Disappointing.

Cosy appartment right in the middle of old Lyon. Smallish but has everything you need. Comfy shower, bed, table and chairs, WiFi works well, ... Old and classified building, but it's in the back so very calm.

A couple items in the kitchen needed replacing. We had no real issue with it but just be sure you are comfortable walking up four spiral stair flights.

You couldn't beat the location. Despite being almost perfect central in the old town, there was no noise at all in the apartment. The apartment was well equipped, the wifi was blazing fast, and quite comfortable for our 17 day stay. Historic building that was full renovated inside. Would definitely return.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer.

The host went far beyond what was necessary to make our stay a great experience. they guides us through the town with suggestions and recommendations, and they were helpful in so many ways. I can't say enough about how amazing these apartments are.

The only thing is that the entrance has stairs and you cannot arrive by car to the door. But it really wasn't a problem for us but could be for others.

The pictures made the flat look much more spacious than it actually is! It was a little tight for our family of 3. Also, the place is on the 4th floor (5th if you're American), and being a 16th-century structure, the only way up is a steep, stone, spiral staircase. It's a long way to haul a heavy suitcase up and down. It was manageable for us, but it was not made clear in the description, and I can see how that might be a real problem for some people. This would be a great place for 2 people in good health who have packed lightly and appreciate the beauty and quirks of true old-world charm!

The location is ideal- right in the middle of the old town and steps from the Saone, which makes for an easy walk to Pres'quile as well. The building is very cool. My husband and I actually admired it on our first trip to Lyon, and we were pleasantly surprised when we realized that we would be staying in it! It was built in the early 16th century, and the facade is absolutely beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed, and the master bed was very comfortable. The AC was a Godsend in the hot summer on such a high floor. The host was very helpful and responsive; we would happily stay in this building again.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean, we had everything we needed (towels, shower gel, shampoo, coffee, sweets) and Madame de Bernardi was very nice and answered to all our questions. The photos are real and describe very well the apartement.

wish it had a little more light but quite at night and netflix and prime are a bonus

great location in old town- easy to walk everywhere - and we did. Host was great and responsive - only suggestion would be better instructions on how to use the lock/key - two bolts and which way to turn them and to pull the door towards you when doing so would make it easier to understand.

Very nice in a building with a lot of character and despite apartments near making a lot of noise in the night, the apartment was well insulated for sound. Very clean and nice apartment
