The shower room needed a little attention and the plug sockets were in odd places in the bedroom

No hot water on arrival-manager just said try again in half an hour Shower was a wet room with dangerously slippery floor. There was no shower curtain and if we had used the shower the whole room would have been soaked.to avoud this toilet oaper was put at a high kevel which required standing up from the seat to get it

The location: the hotel is right by the beach and was a great first night stay for our WW2 history tour of Normandy. Rooms were clean and worked for us.

Would have preferred fresh baguettes at breakfast. No indoor seating area for socialising after dinner, and the bar shut at 10. One male member of staff was rather officious.

The hotel is in a delightful location - right on the promenade - and the town is picturesque. So lovely to hear the sea from our bedroom. Good standard of dinners in the restaurant

Bathroom was ridiculously small and virtually impossible for a 6ft male to use the essential facilities a great number of unnecessary emails before during and after my stay

The walls are thin and we could eaves drop on our neighbors ...or they were just loud. The room was of adequate size and as we learned European rooms aren't typically as big as one would get in the USA. The room was cozy and we had great nights of sleep. The bed was comfy but a bit softer than we like...not the hotel's fault cuz how do you cater to everyone's bed preferences.

We loved the location right on the beach and close proximity to several good restaurants. Le Clos Normand also had a very good restaurant. The cod risotto was amazing and we enjoyed the mussels. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The bed sheets seemed like poly-cotton, they were not very comfortable.

Breakfast was average. No bacon or scrambled eggs. Every place setting had a pain de chocolate, a croisant, and a pain on the plate, even if you didn't want them!
