We liked just about everything. As I said, the location is quiet and rural, so it is necessary to drive a ways to find a town.

We loved the country breakfast each morning-homemade yogurt, delicious breads, jams coffee-excellent. The location is pastoral and very quiet-so relaxing. Beautiful guest rooms and period decor. Beds were comfy. Lovely walks about the place and old village. The hosts are excellent chefs and both dinners we had on property were excellent.

We didnt spend enough tine with the fluffy black cat who lives with the hosts next door and owns the place.

Thank you to Corrine and Olivier for another great stay at your cottage. They are excellent hosts, and the meal they served us for dinner was delicious. A great home-made breakfast in the morning was a good start to our onward journey.

Very much in keeping with the old village style. Hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast and dinner were excellent.

2 day stay en route to Provence. Best B&B we have stayed in. Very comfortable, spacious and great ambiance. Great terrace for relaxing on.

Only our cars GPS...told us we had arrived and we were by an empty field. We were about 150 yards from Le Cottage du Chateau!! Nothing to improve on with the stay itself!

What an amazing...EVERYTHING!!! I don't usually gush, but I cannot say enough about the stay. The location was incredible, the hosts were amazing, the food was perfect (both dinner and breakfast!!) This was a perfect respite from the over commercialization of the Cote de Azur and the crowds of Versailles!! Had we known how great this hidden gem was, we would have stayed there longer. You will not be disappointed in any way!!

The location is perfect to explore Burgundy. The breakfast was very good and the cottage that we have stayed was excellent: perfectly clean, very big, silent (no noise at all from outside), the heater was very efficient. And the owner, Corinne, is very kind and gave us valuable tips of places to visit nearby.

Everything was excellent.

Perfect location in tiny hamlet with beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Private and secure parking at no cost was a definite bonus. Beautiful interior with a comfortable bed, tv, WiFi. Delicious Continental breakfast served in the charming breakfast room. Very friendly reception on arrival.

I stayed here last summer for one night during a trip to the south of France and loved it. So when booking our holiday this Christmas, I once again booked rooms as a halfway stopover for our journey. Le Cottage du Chateau was about 30 - 35 minutes outside of town, so a car is a must. Also a good GPS is required.
