Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomit was fine for a one night stay. Grounds could be worked on to make it better. Bit on the expensive side for what it was.
quaint old house nicely furnished and decorated. Parking on site. Simple breakfast of local products - bread, jam and cheese. Bakery nearby in the tiny village. They have a stuffed fish that was gifted to them by Gerard Depardieu who lives nearby.

United KingdomThis is a wonderful place to stay. marcel and Flo are great hosts, our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and stone bathroom, the dinner and breakfast were delicious and we enjoyed swimming in the pool before dinner. we enjoyed the wines so much that Florence kindly took us to the vineyard the next morning so we could take some home! The Manoir is a really interesting old building - go you will not be disappointed.

NetherlandsYou can’t enjoy WiFi everywhere, for us no problem as we were on holiday. And the jacuzzi didn’t seem to work properly although that also could have been our fault for not asking how to use it. We couldn’t get it working properly.
Thank you Florence and Martial for a lovely stay! You guys make the difference with your care and atmosphere! We enjoyed the big room, with jacuzzi in it. The room is huge, with a small en-suite sitting area and en-suite bathroom. A definite must is to enjoy the lovely dinner Florence and Martial can prepare. All local ingredients and lots of love put in it. The breakfast is incredibly rich and fresh as well. The pool area could use some care, put the pool itself is perfect! Oh and make sure to ask about the very famous neighbour if you like good stories ;-).
