Only paper disposable cups for hot drinks available and no milk for the tea/coffee. We went a walk locally and the area didn’t feel very safe at all. No eating places open locally, perhaps as it was Easter Sunday? all were closed except McDonalds. We didn’t even feel safe to sit in and took our food back to the room as we felt safer doing this😰

Important to note that hotel is not located in the center and rather in the outskirts of the city, but if you have car it is not a problem at all.

Lovely hotel with cozy ambience and friendly staff! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Good breakfast, convenient location next to the big supermarket and the highway for those stopping with a car.

The location is in the industrial part of the city, with few facilities around the hotel, apart from fast food outlets and one bar/tabac, which was OK. The size of the room was for Japanese midgets and the bathroom size was ridiculously small., I had to squeeze in sideways! The towels were old and worn out as well.

Room was a bit dated with window that couldn't leave open as the security shutter was the only blind.

Very small bathroom. In summer, very hot and only a small fan to make wind. Too noisy outside so impossible to open the window. The parking places are very very tiny so difficult to get out from the car.

We arrive late and the key was available with a code. A parking is available but full.

The room was expensive, but the shower was one that had to be hand held, not acceptable for that price and the hotel,right next door was full of immigrants (undesirable characters) .... clothes hanging out of every window, loitering all over the area, we didnt sleepwell for fear of our motorcycle being stolen!!

The hotel was a great stop over on our way back to the Shuttle in Calais. The chap on reception wasn't overly friendly but we nevertheless had clean rooms and at the price we paid it was very good value. The staff in the morning were much happier and more friendly.

The Bar shut at 9, we booked so we could sit in the lovely Arm chairs and finish our holiday with a glass of wine we were happy to pay for. A man was also waiting to purchase a drink, It was 8.55 so we had enough time to get a drink but the man was on the phone and told us with hand gestures that the bar was closed. He then carried on his phone conversation. We were disappointed as would have loved a drink. Wr did sit in the lounge area with our won drink but the other man was also disappointed he couldn’t get some drinks. It’s a shame as that Bar is a great money maker for the Hotel.

The hotel was very quirky and cozy. Like stepping back in time. Much effort in the decor has been taken to make the inside extremely cozy.

Room was over reception entrance and groups of guests lingering outside smoking and talking loudly during the night before they entered. Hotel receptionist asked me to leave lobby late evening as she was closing up and while I was making a phone call.

The was a dank stale smell in the room and as i was on the ground floor, I couldn't leave the door to the garden open to help dispel the smell without allowing rodents etc into the room.

The location is ideal for travellers on an overnight stay close to the motorway. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating.
