We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe've stayed here a few times over the years and it is always perfect for us. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom. A large garden in which our dog can have a goid run. Not too far from the motorway. The hotel is very quiet. A bonus is the tea and coffee facilities in our room which you don't often get in France.

United KingdomThe drains smelled bad. The grounds were not complete. We booked an apartment but were told it wasn’t finished and were given a different room , smaller, but this was cheaper on the website and no offer for a refund for the difference. No apology.

GermanyRestaurant (unfortunately the only option if you don’t want to drive) and service there specifically is substandard. Food is OK, but expensive. Reservations for dinner don’t work as one would expect. When we stayed the outdoor pool was closed, and the hotel charges €35 per person per hour for jacuzzi.
Nice looking hotel in the old mill. Has a large private park.
