The room was smaller than expected but honestly we were only in the room for showering and sleeping so we didn’t really mind.

The corridors are a bit dated and old but once in the bedroom, it was clean & efficient.

I stayed here on two different occasions, for a work trip. Basic but comfortable. I was only in the hotel to sleep so it covered what I needed. Very friendly & helpful staff. And good central location. Nice restaurants & metro in the area.

The room was tiny! Full marks for carving out a double room and bathroom from a minuscule space! However,everything from shower,hanging space,mirrors,air conditioning etc worked well and everything required was available.Bed v comfortable and quality of linen also good. Nice touch to have refreshments freely available in reception.

Honestly was very good for a short stay, I cannot complain about any item. Maybe it would have helped to sleep in a room not so close to the breakfast room, but overall was OK.

Location is great, if you're looking for something in the centre, but less touristic and crowded. Metro station is in 1min walk, so it's very easy to go everywhere by metro, but it didn't take more than 30 mins walk to reach the Louvre, for example. Breakfast is traditionally french, nothing super special, mostly it's pastries and yogurt, less vegetables and meat, however it was delicious.

I think if it had been much warmer the room would have been uncomfortable as having the window open would have had a little traffic noise.

We had a great stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and well accommodated (if a little small but then it is Paris....) The hotel is in a great (and safe) location, well located for sight seeing and local transport links. The breakfast offering was good with decent coffee, warm croissants and a good selection of other items.

The room had a distinct aroma. But we opened the windows and it was fine ! Also, the lobby is dark and dingy at night, but very well lit in the day. Once you look beyond the lobby, you realise it’s a great place for Paris!

The staff is exceptional and the room and bathroom we got was big enough for Paris standards. The hotel is extremely well located with restaurants, shopping areas, boulangeries and late night bars all around.

There was a smell from the drain in the bathroom.

I loved the location and the building was authentic. It is very close to metro Republique and a short walk to Gare de l’est. The balcony offers a lovely view of a typical French street. There are many restaurants in the area and very safe to walk around. There are English tv channels and a complimentary coffee and tea station in the foyer. The staff speak very good English and have a pleasant manner.

I realise that space is at a premium in Paris but I was not prepared for the infinitesimally small bathroom. It was a squeeze to get in the shower, having to squash ourselves through the door. The available floor space is no bigger than the bath mat provided to keep the floor dry. The toilet is in the corner and we are both bruised from the number of times our arms caught the toilet roll holder. There was not enough space in there to dry or dress. I feel that the interior has been designed to maximise profit but not a guest’s comfort. It is not possible to fill the basin since there is no plug.

The property is in a great location, close to three (at least) Metro stations. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby too, particularly La Favorite, just across the road. The staff are a credit to the hotel, friendly and helpful. I was expecting a small room given other reviews and had no problem with the size of the bedroom. Breakfast was good, continental style but plenty of food was available. The shower pressure is excellent but more about the bathroom in the negative comments.

The pictures are misleading. The hotel is quite tired looking compared to the pictures online. The rooms are small but that is expected in Paris. It can be very noisy with other guests arriving/leaving and slamming of doors.

Location is really good - very close to two Metro stations with good connections. Room was clean. The hotel is fine if you are only spending time there to sleep as rooms are small. Good shower with complimentary toiletries.
